Sam Smiths rules totally flouted. Lots of fing & blinding, mobile phones ringing & calls taken. Musty smell, lots of cigg smoke coming in from the front door. Couldn't wait to leave.
Great place. Can still get a pint under £3.50. Also, no music, no laptops, no mobile calling; just a great social atmosphere.
A typical Sam Smiths pub, nothing thrilling on the decor side but good, well-kept beers at really low prices. A proper drinkers venue. I didn't eat here, hence no rating on food.
Lovely traditional pub lovely fireplace and decor. Good prices and a good range of choice of beverages. Lovely friendly locals and staff. We didn't try the food so can not comment. I would definitely recommend and return.
This used to be an amazing and busy pub all hours of the day. Yesterday my friend and I were greeted by a young bartender who grunted and groaned his way through serving us. Possibly hungover. And didn't even utter a word to us. Pub absolutely empty on a Saturday evening. Depressing. Prices have soared. But still very tasty beer and cider. On positive.

A lovely, warm and welcoming pub with a great atmosphere… each and every one of the staff were super friendly, engaging and clearly enjoyed their jobs. We enjoyed some lovely food, quality ingredients and well presented and this is somewhere I would definitely revisit! Highly recommend
Another great Sam Smiths pub. Cracking choice beers wines and spirits. Fantastic value for money, great bar staff and locals, all in all a really friendly pub. Fantastic afternoons in the sun sat at the bench tables outside drinking and watching the world go by.
