   Celebrates my wife’s half birthday here with our dog. Atmosphere was very welcoming, all Christmas decorated, lovely bar staff including Michelle who served us and was very pleasant and attentive. Food was served quickly and was top class - hot, delicious and plentiful. Parking was freely available on site. Overall we spend a very good time here and will be back soon again!

   Myself and my wife called in the Stone Trough a couple of weeks ago for Sunday lunch. I must say it was one of the nicest ones we have had. This experience convinced us to call again last Thursday after a couple of slight problems which were excellently dealt with by the manager Chrissy we had another lovely meal. The food is excellent they have a good selection of beers the staff are very friendly and helpful. Finally I would just like to say a huge thank you to Chrissy who I mentioned before who dealt with our minor issues with great professionalism and friendliness it was also a pleasure to see her helping out behind the bar and serving food as it was very busy we really enjoyed both visits and will hopefully be calling again.

   Came for Sunday lunch and had a lovely experience! It was really busy, but the atmosphere was great and totally worth the wait. Jade was absolutely lovely – so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the meat – perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavour. Will definitely be coming back!

A special shoutout to Jade – she was absolutely lovely and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and came out quickly, and the whole experience was just relaxed and enjoyable.    Booked our Christmas lunch here this year and was not disappointed. The staff were great, very friendly. The soup starter was lovely and the bread roll was so soft and fresh. I had the beetroot tart and it was delicious, the other half had turkey and said it was very tasty - he liked the fact the veg came separate rather than being piled on the plate. Christmas pudding was amazing too. Wasn't over faced with anything, we weren't rushed and will probably book here again next year. Thank you

   It would be one star but the staff were nice. The food is absolutely atrocious the Sunday roasts were that bad we had to ask for our money back and go elsewhere. Beef tough and dry, roasties not cooked, veg out of a bag, my cauliflower cheese was freezing cold in the middle but the outside of the bowl was hot. Obviously microwaved and no gravy. We asked for extra gravy and got brought a tiny gravy boat which we had to ration between us. Will never go again, see picture, I had seasoned it my self with pepper before you think they did.

   Good pub, nice food but short on selection of ale, only 1 IPA. Lovely bar staff made us feel very welcome. Good choice of vegan and vegetarian food. Even larger options for meat eaters. Don't get to the dessert but fair choice. Friendly staff, gave us good directions and we're friendly. Would visit again.

   Stopped off unexpectedly en route to the airport. Lovely food. Fantastic value lunchtime set menu. And really friendly and welcoming staff. Toilets clean, place seems well looked-after. We had a great experience!

   Ended up pulling in here completely randomly as we were driving past and it just looked so lovely! And we were not disappointed! Every single member of staff was so warm and friendly, the view sat outside was BEAUTIFUL, lovely decor, really speedy great service. This is well out of the way and nowhere near where we live but I have absolutely no doubt that we’ll be back, worth traveling to! What a gorgeous place and the staff are absolutely exceptional. Thank you and see you again soon! :)
