Great original bar Much bigger than it looks in fact it's a TARDIS! Good drinks selection, and friendly staff.

Lovely old pub, lots of wood, plenty of ales & a welcoming atmosphere. Didn’t eat there, we popped in for a nosey & a rest after visiting Salts Mill & all that has to offer. A perfect day out & a visit to Fanny’s before getting the train home rounded off the day nicely.

Lovely, dog friendly, cosy, local pub. Lots of real ales and the staff are friendly and quick to serve even when it gets really busy. There's no food but you can get the usual crisps and nuts etc.

Brilliant alehouse with loads of seating areas and a fine selection of beers on cask and keg. Very helpful bar staff (and lots of them) and extremely friendly local customers. Dog friendly pub too so poach can sit in and have a bowl of water.

Nipped in here for a drink when in the area. A good range of beer and was served perfectly. Deceptively bigger inside spanning two floors. Would recommend.

Really friendly owners, beautiful decor with fires lit, good selection of pints and close to the station/art gallery. Gluten free pint on tap as well which is nice!

Five star from me, more if I could. Fantastic choice of ales and great service on every level. Not sure if they do food but plenty of local options if not. At least three coal fires, plenty of space inc up stairs. Great value. What’s not to like. Dogs welcome. Highly recommend

Simply one of the finest pubs in the land. Great choice of craft and real ales, lots of nooks and crannies for conversation. Friendly staff and locals.

Called here Sunday lunchtime for a couple of pints. Great selection of ales, lagers etc on offer at reasonable prices in a fantastic nostalgic interior. The shipyard was served perfectly. The owners were most hospitable. Highly recommended.
