   Amazing family restaurant located right next to the M62 so is a perfect stop off point for travelling to see family / watching a local sports team. There was 2 adults / 1 child, who were all catered for. Great menu choice and fast service by Claire who was super friendly :) Food presented really well + good taste on all dishes. Really nice value for money and the kids area in the corner was a very popular with our child.

   It was Christmas Day, so first and foremost thank you for our lovely meal and working on Christmas Day! The food was lovely. The soup could have been a touch hotter that’s all. Left feeling very happy and full.

   I ordered the surf and turf and it was absolutely spot on. The steak was cooked perfectly — juicy, tender, and full of flavour — and the scampi was golden, crispy, and really tasty. The two went together brilliantly, with the rich steak and light, crunchy scampi making it a proper treat. Overall, it was a classic pub favourite done really well. Great quality, great value, and I’d happily order it again. Very friendly welcoming staff.

   A marstons establishment and it lived up to their typical standards it will be the last time I darken a marstons door. We had: Cowboy burger American hot dog Salted caramel brownie Brownie Sunday The cowboy burger was dry overcooked the fries were cold and the onion rings just three btw were inedible. The American hotdog was mush with no bite the brioche bun was burnt and rock hard the fries were cold and I suspect the beef chilli topping had never seen any beef so overall a poor offering saved by excellent service. As for the puddings lest said the better !

   First time coming and the Pepsi was the best bit, not very nice, meat very dry, veg and roast potato’s rock hard and the Yorkshires were like rubber. Safe to say won’t be returning.
