It's ok but next shop is better for drinks and atmosphere. The food court barista isn't great blend of drink and food is very bland

I like this Costa, though I tend to pick off-peak times for visits as it can get very busy. The WiFi is generally good, and there’s a good choice of seats. The baristas have all been consistently friendly and helpful when I’ve called in; Ruby will always take time to have a chat, which is a nice touch. The coffee is good, and I usually have one of the cakes. I like the seasonal stuff Costa offer. The red velvet loaf cake is a favourite, and this year the Festive muffin is a close second.

I stopped by this Costa and bought something, then left my order on the table and went back to the counter to politely ask for a glass of tap water. The baristas were willing to help, but ‘the store manager’ – without even looking up – told me to go to the end of the long queue. When I asked again, he explained (with a smile this time) that I should have requested it 10 seconds earlier when I ordered, and that now I’d need to wait another 30 minutes in line just for water. Interesting customer service logic: coffee, no problem. Tap water, apparently a bureaucratic nightmare (maybe because tap water is free). A very “refreshing” experience indeed.

Decent coffee although rather expensive. Also fairly noisy in the middle of a store.

Love Costa and great having it in Next. My favourite high street coffee.

This is one of the best Costa's in Birmingham. Why? Not only because of the drinks and snacks, but because of the staff. Everyone working there is so nice and friendly. Go for a hot chocolate with marshmallows and it'll be just like the picture. This place is nicely located to unwind and relax with a Costa drink and food treat.

Great location, even though there is another Costa Coffee in Fosse Park. This one is inside the Next store, on the 2nd floor (1 above ground floor). Plenty of space and a great atmosphere, staff were very nice and friendly too. Good place to sit and relax, but not sure what it is like during peak times.

It's the first time I've been inside this Costa Coffee inside the Next building,I thought it was pretty good, but I thought the surroundings elevated it to four stars. Nowadays it's easy to see the attraction of getting a coffee shop to rent inside another business like Next,it's a win,win for me,not to mention Waterstones,. When you think about it,you could shop in Next, buy a book in Waterstones and look at your purchases whilst having a coffee and some to eat in Costa's, and the best thing of all you can park right outside for nothing. That's my kind of shopping.
