It's a lovely building so I called in for a pint. The staff were nice and the service was quick. The beer was fresh as well. It's your local boozer and it has some characters, but it was fine. The interior could do with a bit of a refresh.

Amazing, one of the nicest bars I have ever been in, treated like family as soon as you walk in, you get treated as a regular on your first visit. Very reasonable prices and love the fact all the other people in the bar (who are regulars) welcome and talk to you.

Saturday nights used to be pretty decent in this place I believe Ellen was the dj but I still enjoy just calling in on my way home from time to time

This pub runs a quiz and bingo on Sunday nights. Last nights bingo was played and there is a snowball for each game. Last night called house within the snowball number and was told by landlady sorry can’t pay you as I forgot to mention the snowball and didn’t put it in machine. What an absolute con. The snowball was only for £100 but it’s the principle of it obviously she didn’t want to part with the money and as it was her fault thought she would have honoured it but NO! Am looking into this further as I think she is completely out of order. Have been going in for years albeit only on Sundays shame won’t go again. Shame as it was a nice evening there and it’s been spoilt.
