Christmas day dinner. The staff were absolutely fantastic, however they always have been! Really friendly and interactive with the children. Food was spot on and the portion sizes really good. Thank you!

Came for the breakfast with Santa . The food was very enjoyable. A proper breakfast , the kids portion was great value . A great selection of drinks for us adults and the kids . When Santa came out the atmosphere was magical ! He came round with a bubble machine blowing it in all directions making his visit even more lovely , we went and got loads of photos with him and even got an early present of Santa ! Would definitely recommend

Had breakfast with Santa this morning at the flying squirrel. We were booked in and food and drinks ordered quickly be the friendliest staff. Was taken to our table which had crackers and Christmas activities for the little ones. They were also given baubles to make themselves which are already on our tree. Breakfast came out hot and delicious. Then the music went up as the big man himself walked around blowing bubbles while greeting the kids. We had the opportunity to take pictures then and also while the went into a separate room to see him and get a gift. Awesome service brilliant atmosphere and we left happy, with full bellies and a little boy who is still smiling. Welldone to alll the staff you were great “)

2 adults and 2 kids (5&3) - the kids thoroughly enjoyed the play area outside whilst we waited for food. The kids meals are fab - just the right amount, and are available in different portion sizes. Our experience of the main menu is that the food is ‘okay’. Having said that, we’d still return as it’s a great place for families and the service is really good. Michelle was a great help in regard to keeping us right for a dairy allergy and the kitchen staff ensured the dish was prepared accordingly and marked appropriately. These efforts are hugely appreciated, so thank you all.

17 of us went for Christmas Dinner, can honestly say not one complaint from any of us. It wasn't over booked so no mistakes made. All enjoyed our food. No stress at all. Well done to all the staff who worked Christmas day.

A great experience - though, the steak was a bit too overcooked and burnt. Overall, I would definitely come back.

The food was delicious, super light and easier to finish in comparison to Toby's Carvery for example. Great veg selection, and a pretty straight-forward service. As this was my first time at Marstons, the lady (Alison) was super friendly, polite, and helpful and explained how the service worked to me. The only downfall was the environment amongst other customers, they were constantly staring which made me quite uncomfortable - however I understand that this can't be controlled by the business. Overall, I would recommend and come back again at some point ☺️

I don't know why I keep going back, convience I suppose or it's a form of self harm, but each time it just gets worse. Once I went for Sunday dinner when it first opened and it wasn't too bad, although it is not comparable to Tobys, which is superior in every way. I then went for Eat Out to Help Out and it was busy, was nothing left that I wanted so had to order a Sunday dinner but when it came it had no meat? After complaining I had to wait 45mins for them to bring out meat. When it did arrive it was the scrappings from the trays and my dinner had gone cold and my friends had all eaten. Although we did complain and was offered a free meal overall the service and experience was shoddy. I didn't want to go back but was convinced by my sister as she was hungry one day whilst out shipping with the kids. On this final occassion I ordered a burger and some chicken nuggets for my daughter, both of which had been re heated / refried and were dry. The chips were the same you could honestly break your teeth on them. I didn't even bother complaining as the whole experience last time was draining. Will not be making the same mistake ever again and I advise others not to go. The food is extremely poor and service is horrendous. Stay clear!

nice atmosphere and really enjoyed the hunter’s chicken, however, the chicken in the burger wasn’t a chicken breast fillet & staff took awhile to clean table after we finished. regardless, we had a nice meal out and will probably visit again
