I visited the venue on Monday with my family and a what a delight it was! We were served by a lovely woman, I think she said her name was Beth! She was so polite and helpful! She made us feel right at home and couldn’t have done more! The food was so tasty, especially the carvery! We will be back!

We had a small family gathering for our sons 21st birthdays in the function room. Staff were very polite, helpfull and attentive. The buffet food served was absolutely delicious. Couldn’t recommend it more for a small function.

Probably the best roast beef I've had at a carvery! Lovely, just very nice. Smaller selection of veg than somewhere like a Toby, but still overall very nice. Walked in without a reservation and got a small table in a busy area (walkway and host station) but still enjoyed the food. Ordering via the QR code on phone was very convenient and avoids the queue at the bar. Outdoor play area for children and dog friendly as well. Busy at Sunday lunchtime which is not surprising as the food was very nice.

Lovely atmosphere nicely decorated with festive feel. Staff welcoming and friendly. Our group of 7 all enjoyed the medium carvery, tasty meats and hot. Great value for money and good drinks choice

Excellent value for money. The carvery offered plenty of choice, and was well topped up, even at peak time. The staff were welcoming, and big shout out goes to Stu on the carvery section. Always cool and professional under pressure.

Lovely old looking pub, with friendly, helpful staff. We had some starters and a large mixed grill and I can't complain about the portion sizes. Walked away full. They also had a roast dinner Carvery on that looks really good I didn't have it myself, but looked and smelt great. Also had a good size garden, with a play park for kids.

Up there with one of the worst places I’ve eaten at. The burger meat was the horrible cheap nasty stuff with zero flavour. It was also burnt. The bun itself was dry and stale. The chips were ok. The lasagna tasted like it came fresh out of the microwave. The place is also tired and needing some major renovation works. The carpet is lifting off the floor and the toilets are gross.
