   Pleasant environment. Lovely staff. Food was disappointing. Called in whilst passing as we thought it served Mediterranean food. The menu for this was limited. We chose the two course Sunday roast. Garlic mushrooms lacked flavour and the sausage was thin. The roast dinners were not unpleasant but again lacked any real flavour. Gravy had no real taste and was thin. Just about felt full. It was not worth the price. Pleasant atmosphere and staff but left no lasting impression and gave us no reason to return. Has the potential to be very good with a few tweaks.

   Decided last minute to visit, first time dining here. Tried the 3 courses for £22.95 menu - lovely food, hot and good portions. Really great service, sadly didn’t get the young guy’s name but really attentive. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend, the festive menu looks great as well!

   Great place and aesthetically pleasing inside. Food is not that good to my taste. Small portion and long waiting time to be served. Fried breaded chicken was quite dry, staff should have asked if we’re ok or not or if we need anything. We have to go over the counter to asked for mayonnaise which takes couple of minutes to get served. Otherwise I still recommend this place to anyone

   Been hearing some good reviews from friends so thought I would give it a try with my dad who has gluten dietary issues so they had 2 separate menus which helped us out I went for the pork belly while dad went for the steak the service was fine yes there was a little wait but that was worth the wait when the food came out the presentation was something new for me but got the thumbs up same with dads steak . The taste of the food didn’t disappoint either the pork just was cooked perfectly with all the fancy herbs plus fancy potatoes to go on the plate it was a very satisfying meal so we hope to call back soon plus the log fire burning had a nice calming effect the service was spot on if there was any slight issue the food quality was banging .

   When we arrived we were greeted by a member of staff and taken to our table, the food was absolutely delicious especially for me as I had the duo of lamb it was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very attentive but not pestering like you sometimes get in places which can be a bit overwhelming she was very good and very polite. The menu had a really good choice and caters for dietary needs. Brilliant all round meal and we will definitely visit again.

   We enjoyed a delicious family meal. We did not go for waiter service as we sat by the log fire. The only difference was we ordered at the bar. There is a good range of fairly standard pub fayre but well cooked and presented. We are going back this week with some friends.

   An impromptu meal after a 7 mile walk with great friends. Called in hoping to have a table and although appearing to be booked they managed to find us a really nice table. Lovely decor with numerous open fires. The food was really lovely and we were well looked after by a really nice genuine lady called Emily. It has been a real pleasure to dine there today & we will return.
