   I'm very disappointed with Maddocks' decision to switch to DX for main deliveries. Since the change, the service has been consistently poor and unreliable. DX offers no delivery time slots, charges a premium for Saturday delivery, and still manages to deliver parcels to the wrong address. I placed an order yesterday specifically for delivery today (23/05/2025), carefully selecting items to qualify for free next-day delivery. Once again, DX has let us down. I called Maddocks this morning for an update and was told tracking would be available by lunchtime. When I checked just after 12:00, the status simply said "tel to reschedule delivery"—completely unacceptable. In contrast, Maddocks previously used DPD, whose service was excellent—reliable next-day delivery with a one-hour time slot and accurate tracking. DX has been a significant downgrade, and I sincerely hope Maddocks reconsiders this partnership before more customers are affected.

   Does ANYONE with a proper appliance repair company deal with these totally and utterly inept lot. I've been running an appliance repair company for 30 years. Used these a while ago ad connect-distribution simply had no stock.but these guys were useless, went back to connect distribution after Screwfix bought them. But they didn't have a pump last week, so I ordered from these complete clowns. I'm still waiting nearly a week later.. absolute joke of a company.

   Horrible prehistoric company, impossible to deal with anyone with an ounce of sense, incompetent sales staff with zero knowledge constantly getting the wrong parts or worse still damaged parts, do yourself and your business a favour and source elsewhere these clowns either need to modernise or go extinct.

   I'm a local appliance repair service and have never had a problem with these guys. Been a trade customer for many years now. I've dealt with many spares suppliers in my time and this company seems to have the right idea when it comes to small local repair guys. Never pestered for higher level of purchasing, great free carriage requirement, next day delivery is bang on, option for weekend delivery and superb prices. Beats everyone on all these levels. Perfect for a small business like mine...and always my first port of call when stocking up.
