   Excellent place for a pint and food. Food is all properly home made and tasty. Just been here for a Christmas dinner and there was loads of variety on the plate. Turkey wasn't dried out and garlic sprouts are a new winner for me. You won't leave hungry for sure!

   Came for Sunday day trip from the Doncaster area to visit the Bingley 5 Rise and to walk along the canal, with wife.. We ventured off track (not knowing the area) and stopped off for a drink and packet of crisps - as no cooked food on offer. Cleared table and said thank you (twice) as we left. Only person to acknowledge us was a customer - although clear that we were leaving, Barmaid totally ignored us.
