   Arrived at batch bar .they served everyone else but myself .A man that a regular came in after me .got served b4 me .I left the shop went to Stoke bakery which service was fantastic and they staff was ready to serve next customer. Will not go back to scoffs .due to the service

   Popped in for a quick breakfast first time visiting. The staff wasn't friendly but not unfriendly. It seems a bit of a confused way to order as it wasn't clear that we had to pay till after. The lady kinda took our order from the counter and then walked off. A gentleman had just finished eating so we sat in the spot next to him. No one came to clean the area. We the food arrived it looked good, however, the cutlery given was absolutely filthy. Asked for a new set and the fork was dirty a second time, so a request was made to clean the cutlery. Not keen on the sausages (went for a full english) but to be honest after receiving dirty cutlery twice, it put me off my food and I barely ate it. Had a couple of mouthfuls, ate the toast and left. Won't be back.

   Late morning on a Friday - possibly one of Scoffs busiest times, i rang to enquire whether there were any ready made scones available for delivery ASAP. I needed 5 and although they only had a couple made up, they readily offered to make up my request and deliver them in approx 30 mins. These people are just so lovely and accommodating, and Wow! those scones went down a treat with us and our visitors, lashings of cream and jam, on the tastiest scones, which were huge! - highly recommend . Thanks again for excellent service, and fabulous food as always!

   Had a baked potato today with cheese onion and coleslaw. Baked potato was reheated from the day before. Definitely wasn’t fresh. Cheese was non existent as was the red onion. Had better from here in the past. Just disappointed that I actually paid for horrible food that I didn’t eat!
