   Been there a few times now with friends and it's a great place to go for an affordable, tasty breakfast. A cup of tea/coffee with a full english is less than £8 which is a bargain. If you want to experience something completely different, try the Caribbean Breakfast with Jerk sausages. Great atmosphere with 2 Tones music to take you back to the 1970s and early 1980s. If you go as a big group, make sure to arrange in advance. They are a small team and it can overwhelm them.

   I ordered off uber oxtails and curry goat with rice and beans and white rice. Got 2x rice and beans ….big chunks of weird meat swimming in a pool of watery sauce curry burnt liquid. Rice was unpalatable. I was starving so eat the oxtail and was sick for an hour after. I don’t know what that all was but it was not made by a Caribbean culture. Do not order from this place!

   Visited Friday afternoon for lunch. It was a little warm for us inside so we decided to sit outside. The outside area is beautiful. Service and food was excellent. The young lady that served us was lovely and her service beautiful. The food was delicious at competitive prices. Thank you.

   I think I've stumbled on a little gem of a cafe. Prices are very reasonable and the food is brilliant. The staff in the cafe are very polite, and I enjoy listening to the ska music whilst I'm dining. Decor is good too.

   Came here while waiting for my mot to be done. Friendly staff, cool ‘Specials’ themed ska cafe and enjoyed my cheesy jacket potato. Slightly hidden away but glad I visited!

   One of Coventry’s hidden gems, located at the 2-Tone Village, on the Wallsgrave Road CV2. Renowned for its English breakfast with a spicy twist or its delicious curried chicken. I totally love the decor in the cafe, everything’s decked out in iconic 2-tone imagery, including the ‘Rude Boy’ and ‘Rude Girl’ toilets. There’s a seating area outside which is lovely in the warmer months. It’s also got a licensed bar, so is a much more appealing alternative to going to the pub for lunch! They have a lovely size function room with its own bar and often hold live music events. It was the perfect place for hosting my 50th bday celebrations. They offer an appetizing range of hot and cold buffet options. Angela’s home made quiche was absolutely delicious and almost stole the show from the curried chicken and curried vegetable dishes! They’ve got a great sound system which is very easy to plug your phone in so you can put on your favourite playlist (no need to hire a DJ!). Thank you Angela, Alph and team for making my guests feel welcomed, relaxed and in the party mood. A great time was had by all.
