   Love both Baxters locations. Started going to the one in the Herbert as it’s closer. I’m not sure if they are still doing lunch/brunch or whether only Hale Street does. Went in for breakfast at 10. Tried to order their smashed avocado on toast (it’s been my favourite avocado on toast in Cov for ages). They didn’t get a delivery of avocado so couldn’t make it. Ordered cake instead. Seems odd for a Saturday morning. Will order cake/coffee here and brunch at hale street instead. Coffee was lovely and strong. Loads of seats, very clean.

   The perfect place for an unpretentious coffee with lots of windows for natural sunlight and comfortable seating. I enjoyed my cappuccino and word search puzzle (on the kid’s menu).

   When you serve an expresso always, always warm up the cup first. This is one of the basic rules if you want your place to be of “barista” level. Nice environment and furniture.

   Visited as a large group with work colleagues and our order was dealt with quickly despite it being a busy lunch time. Great coffee, which was very welcome on a freezing cold day. Good choice of meals, including hot dishes.

   A fairly small cafe for the size of museum with a good children's play area. Unfortunately by midday they had already run out of chicken nuggets and we had vouchers for two children's meals which didn't leave many hot options. It was very busy and I think the staff were overrun.

   Museum café with a nice vibe. The staff were kind and delivered a good service even if it got a little busy. The food includes hot options such as jacket potatoes and soup alongside sandwiches and snacks. Inexpensive.
