I took my parents here on 2nd sept at lunch time and it was brilliant from start to finish, the meal was hot and so were the plates , desserts amazing and the lady serving was great too i can't recommend this place enough.
Dropped in for a spot of refreshment and were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff and customers. A thirst was upon me and it was soon quenched by a pint of Wainwright's Amber - a great beer at the best of times but at the Fox and Hounds it was spot on. I would have stayed but was in the middle of a 12 mile walk with friends. I'll be back!
Our group went there for lunch after a walk and I'm sure everyone was more than satisfied. The food was very tasty and a different choice from the usual pub grub, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the pub has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Family have just had a fantastic Sunday meal. 7 adults, 2 children. The staff were lovely attentive yet unobtrusive. The food was lovely, plentiful and served hot. Good value. The menu was a Sunday lunch /Dinner range. A much larger menu is available through out the week. Thanks to all the staff and Maz.
Popped in a few weeks ago with my partner. They had a lovely selection of fresh baked cakes and brownies. Various drink options and the Staff were more than welcoming and a pleasure to conversate with. They also have outdoor seating.
The coffee was good, breakfast good and friendly staff. Packed a little atmosphere inside as we were the only people seated, but we will definitely visit again and recommend to others.
Absolutely lovely Sunday roast, proper home cooked food and very generous. Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. I popped in on a Sunday for a quick coffee and ended up staying for longer than planned. The atmosphere when I walked in was so friendly and welcoming, to myself and the dog and the staff were all lovely. The food looked and smelt delicious, and the cakes were too tempting to resist. Will define returning in the future!
Lovely experience and exceptionally friendly and welcoming bar staff. Highly recommend. Just waiting for them to have the kitchen delivered to go for a meal which I'm certain will be excellent also after eating at the establishment they had before .
