Came here yesterday around 5 for a car seat. Colleague there went above and beyond with full demonstration of how to fit it, compared prices and what each car seat did. Then fitted this for me with another clear demonstration. Very professional and polite. Highly recommended.

It took 38 mins to turn a bad experience into a great one. I bought a front and rear dashcam and got Halfords to fit it. However i was not happy on my return to the vehicle to find rain water down the inside of the drivers door and the rear passenger seat. Both the cameras were badly aligned and there appeared to be excess cable showing. When i returned home i contacted Halfords customer services. A couple of days later i recieved a call from the manager, who apologised profusely. He asked if i would revisit so he could sort it out. What a difference one person can make between a bad and great experience. The original fitter seemed to have no time for me, would not explain the system or show me the work.I now understand why! The manager Tom, who refitted the cameras, fully explained their opperation and whose incitefull knowlage made me more confident about its usage as well as the capabilities of the system is an asset to your company. Well done.

I had my windscreen chip repair booked in for Saturday. Approximately 3 hours before, I received an automated email saying it had been cancelled. No call received from store to confirm, no reason, and no confirmation as to whether they would be contacting to re-book. So luckily I saw that email in time. I called head office as you cannot call stores directly. They called through to the store who confirmed that theyβve run out of resin, but apparently could not get anymore info as they had hung up. Itβs now 5 days later, Iβm yet to hear what is happening, and whether I need to contact them to re-book? Can I have a refund? So it looks like Iβm going to have to drive to store to sort myself. I have paid the Β£45 upfront. I do not have a problem that it had to be cancelled due to running out of resin, itβs the shocking communication, particularly as you have already taken my money!

I visited Halfords in Keighley today to get some advice on bikes for my kids, and I was greeted by the nicest young lad. He was super friendly, listened to everything I had to say, and seemed genuinely interested in helping. Honestly, he made the whole experience really pleasant. But then, a woman, who I assume was his manager, came over and interrupted our conversation in the most rude way possible. She pretty much told him to stop talking to me and pay attention to her instead. I couldnβt believe it. She was incredibly dismissive, had no customer service skills whatsoever, and honestly, her smell was so strong it made me feel a bit sick. What really upset me, though, was the way she spoke to him. It was clear she was using her position to boss him around in a way that wasnβt right, and it made me feel really uncomfortable. I canβt help but feel bad for anyone working with herβit didnβt seem like a healthy work environment at all. Itβs such a shame because the young lad was doing a great job, but this whole situation left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Iβm honestly concerned about how staff are treated behind the scenes if this is how things go down in front of customers. Definitely not the type of experience Iβd expect at a place like Halfords.

I needed a new bulb in my headlight, the staff couldnt have done anymore. They were super slick and friendly. Over all a great service. Wont hesitate to recommend and will certainly use them again. Thank you so much.

I had a 10point check and the gentleman, Tim, who did this for me was fantastic. He explained what and why he was looking at each part of the engine and then gave lots of car care tips. He gave lots of really accessible examples, such as comparing parts to a kettle or a nose, so I found I really understood why the problems I was experiencing were happening. Great service and great customer relations!

It should have been made clear, when your assistant fitted my wiper blade, that I would be charged for the fitting. It took him about 20 seconds, possibly less. I thought he was just being helpful. I have changed a regulator on an electric window before..so I know how to fit a wiper blade. I feel like I have been stung. I am not blaming the assistant. He was polite and friendly. It's obviously top-down pressure to jack the revenue up. Just typical of the planet-killing, money-worshipping corporate world. Business as usual, eh guys?

Both staff that I saw were really helpful and friendly, especially Tom who went out of his way to advise me on paint matching and my wipers. Someone on the shop floor for advice is invaluable. I'll happily shop there again
