What an incredible experience! The Aberdale pub is a true gem that perfectly blends bold flavors, warm hospitality, and a lively pub atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, the aromas of smoky tandoor spices and freshly grilled dishes set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. The food was outstanding — rich, authentic flavors with a modern twist. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with depth, from the perfectly charred grills to the fragrant curries and fresh, fluffy naan. You can genuinely taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into each plate. The spice levels were spot-on, bold without overpowering, and clearly crafted by someone who truly understands Indian cuisine. What really elevated the experience was the pub vibe. Great music, an energetic yet relaxed atmosphere, and a solid drink selection made it the perfect place to unwind, whether you’re out with friends or enjoying a casual dinner. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable — always happy to recommend dishes or pair drinks with the food. This place delivers on every level: flavor, ambiance, and service. If you’re looking for an Indian grill pub that goes beyond expectations and leaves you already planning your next visit, this is the spot. Highly recommended!

I went in a group of 14. We pre-ordered the starters which came out on time. The food was amazing along with the atmosphere. Highly recommended. Will be back soon!

This is our local but we rarely went in before the reopening, we went in on Saturday as a family of four (2 kids under 7) to check out our new local. We wanted to order food but hadn't booked, the restaurant was full but the staff let us order from the bar area. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating and great with the kids. The food was really lovely, we had the goat curry (which was slow cooked and so tender) and chicken tikka masala with sides and the kids had chicken nuggets and fish fingers with chips which they really enjoyed. The atmosphere was lovely, and the drinks were great- a good variety. It did get quite noisy when the match was on, but this is a sports pub so be aware of that. All in all we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Visited with my friend last night. Was really impressed with how it's been refurbished. Great food. I had the Chilli & Garlic Chicken which was perfect for a cold night. Great how they've got screens dotted around to watch the sports but didn't see a tv screen in the drinking area near the bar? Will check. I've given the place 5 stars.

The food was absolutely great — they gave us loads of chicken and loads of lamb. I’m sorry the picture is from when we’d nearly finished, but we were too busy tucking in because it was delicious. My only complaint is the lack of sauce, and the pilau rice tasted more like plain rice with a few red dots. If they’re going to call it pilau, they should go all the way with proper flavour — cardamom, cinnamon, and those beautiful mixed colours, not just a sprinkle of red.

Nice pub, very big inside with a pool table. Had one ale on (Tiger) which was served well. Not sure if it was the time of day but was very quiet. Good community pub that deserves a visit (so visit it) Sells roast meat cobs

Booked the back room which is a really good size for a wake. Really good atmosphere, friendly bar staff and owners. Can't fault them and they didn't hassle us at all. Thank you making the process nice and smooth for us and all the family are really grateful.
