   New customer to this garage, the gent (Richard I think) took details of the car, what issues I had and what I wanted doing. Work all completed, the write up on the invoice was comprehensive and covered everything. Was a big chunk of work so the costs were high but expected and cheaper than other garages. Car returned with everything I wanted done, interior clean (clearly used covers and floor protectors - thank you, my interior is cream coloured!). I did suggest some improvements that could be made in relation to cost of parts and letting the customer know prior to fitting, the lady behind the desk said that should happen but she will speak to the guys as she appreciated what I was saying. In my opinion, it's always good to listen to reasonable feedback from customers, needless to say, I'll be going back with future car work as and when it needs doing. Certainly at this point, would recommend.

   I put my car in with a loose exhaust. Apparently it was a quick fix and I was not charged. How often does that happen, these days? It may not be polished but this garage is a real gem. Honest, hard working people. I will be going back.

   Been using now for 15yrs always friendly and helpful staff if you have an issue with a repair willing to bring it back to look at and fix the issue. Good prices and loyal staff so know your not being taken for a mug have used now for 3 various cars for repairs or MOT would definitely recommend to people.

   AVOID !!!!!!! I have just spoken with my friend and I felt compelled to post a review to warn people about the attitude of the mechanic here. I believe that as she was a lone female perhaps this was why she was treated so badly. The comments made were along the lines of how stupid she was not knowing why the engine management light had come on and what was wrong with the car. Also the man she was dealing with told her that she had a ridiculous name and asked why would someone give her that name. This is two of the examples but it was an onslaught of verbal abuse. I would like to point out she is nicest person and not at all confrontational. Absolutely disgusting attitude and I cannot believe that there are people out there that firstly behave like this and secondly that another mechanics stood by and said 'ignore him he's having a bad day'. Great way to behave. Funny how another poor review on here is by a female who they had seemingly been trying to over charge. I wouldn't use this place now if the service was free and feel shocked at just how horrible some people can be.
