   DO NOT STAY HERE! Booked a room for Sunday night, received email of confirmation and another one advising the time to arrive and check in. Got there at 9pm on a cold and wet Sunday after a 3 hour drive. Pub shut early, presumably because it was quiet. No access to the rooms. No-one answered the phone, I was stranded. They haven’t responded to my email or made any attempt to explain. No refund, nothing.Having spoken to people locally, this once nice place is under new management and they can’t cope. I’m not the first person this has happened to. Luckily The Globe had rooms and it was lovely, so stay there. Shouldn’t be allowed to call themselves a hotel when they let their “guests” down so badly and don’t have the courtesy to respond.

   Stayed for two nights 5th & 6th December 2025 in room 6, room disappointingly shabby for money paid, very lacking continental breakfast served and absence of cooked breakfast although advertised as served on weekends , windows very draughty and rattled in windy weather and the carpet was quite grubby. On the plus side bed was comfy and there was a plentiful supply of tea and coffee in the room. The location is great although we would not stay here again due to the aforementioned.

   It's a nice bar, with ok rooms. It is an old building and it shows in parts. Our room was comfortable enough, with a very high ceiling. We did have a leak from our toilet. Which the staff tried to fix ASAP. Though it didn't make much difference, the staff were very apologetic about it. The location of the hotel is great. With in walking distance to everything nearby. The complementary continental breakfast was nice. The only thing we struggle with was parking, the free car park which we were recommended was too much of a walk away.

   We had our wedding reception at the Old Coffee Tavern a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful venue and super relaxed. The wedding day ran very smoothly, with staff coming in bright and early to set-up the decorations. There was enough seating for the 80 guests which was then moved to the side to make way for the DJ and dancefloor. The buffet was reasonably priced and delicious, particularly the lamb curry, southern fried chicken and the jasmine rice. Several guests have contacted us to say how much they enjoyed the food. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the church, high ceiling and comfy bed. It was great to walk a minute up the road to the weekly market in the morning. A really good location. Great cooked breakfast with veggie and vegan options. Pheebs had everything under control which made us feel completely at ease over the full wedding weekend. We'll definitely be coming back for our anniversary!

   Didn’t stay here but did eat here on a Saturday evening (11/10/2025), place was packed so obviously popular destination. Place is really nice though! I ordered a haddock and chips which cost me £17.50, and the food was really good. Complimented with Inches Cider! The Old Coffee Tavern is located in the heart of Warwick, hard to miss. And hopefully not missed because it’s a really good place to visit and I bet the rooms are nice too. Staff great too!

   Honestly didn't expect much. We sat down, and the server was fantastic! Very energetic, and honestly sweet as anything. The food came and wow. As I said, didn't expect much but if I wasn't moving on I could have stayed there until closing! Thank you!

   Very nice place to stay! Rooms are spacious and have high ceilings. Bed is good. Check in is in the pub and you'll be helped by very kind staff. The cauliflower popcorn was lush! I wasn't impressed with the classic hamburger. I will come back here again.

   Best chicken pie ever. We stopped for lunch after visiting the castle. The pie was delicious and the fries were amazing. The pub has a beautiful decoration and it was quiet.

   What a fantastic pub/inn! We stayed overnight to attend an event at nearby Warwick Castle. We had lunch, drinks and breakfast at the Tavern. Everything was excellent. The room was newly renovated and spotless, the food was delicious and the ales were very well conditioned. Above all, the service was amazing. The guys who served us couldn’t do enough for us. We have found our new favourite pub in Warwick. We’ll be back soon!

   “Beautiful stay! “ The old Coffee Tavern is a perfect cozy place to stay in Warwick . We traveled from USA and stayed there for about a week . Perfect location, close to everything. Very Lovely staff. The General manger was very professional, kind and an AMAZING chef ! He made our breakfast everyday since we were up earlier than other guests. not a very large menu but everything we tried from the breakfast and lunch, dinner menu was excellent. We really enjoyed the Breakfast’s menu and from the dinner menu, our favorite was the stake and fish and chips. The room was very large , clean and very pleasant, We had a lovely view of the clock tower .I will definitely check into this Hotel . Highly recommended.
