   Just visited The Bulls Head in Markfield with two of our dogs as part of our puppy training session. We were made to feel very welcome and Mr T and Mishka enjoyed having some lovely cuddles. The welcome and service were second to none. We will definitely be visiting again.

   Friendly welcome for our visit today at this charming Marstons local. Sat in their extensive and sunny rear yard sampling the well served real ale. Thanks to the landlord for arranging a variety of superbly made cobs in advance for our hungry walking group.

   Nice beer but limited choice of drinks for my wife. Also, no hot food as chef had recently left. The cobs were nice though. Strangely quiet for the Jubilee Bank Holiday lunchtime. Toilets clean but unpleasantly smelly.

   First time at Bulls Head in Markfield but it will definitely not be the last. By far the best meal we have had in a long time. Staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Meals were very reasonably priced and as I said out of this world very, substantial and couldn’t fault anything.
