   Excellent service, fast, and professional. Don't be fooled by the outside, this garage is bigger and better equipped than it looks. They completed my service quickly and the staff were incredibly polite and professional at every step. A huge bonus: they had dog biscuits on hand, which made my dog, Walter, very happy! Highly recommend for anyone in Halifax. I'll be back!

   Would just like to share how happy I am with the service I received here. My car required a wet belt change which I know is a complicated , time consuming job which requires the upmost competence to carry out correctly . Special thanks to Lewis who carried out the work so competently and I thank him for his commitment to making sure everything was as it should be before signing off the work. From my initial contact with the office to receiving my car back from the workshop I felt confident I had found a garage that knew what they were doing and I won’t hesitate to use their services again.    I visited Holmfield Garage yesterday for the first time! After emailing Jordan with my initial enquiry I was then met by Pete at the front desk on arrival who made me feel welcome straight away. Dropping my car off the night before my BMW X6 was in for a terraclean and at last minute I added on 4 wheel alignment which the garage accommodated for me same day. I can’t believe after living in Illingworth for years I have never been on this little industrial estate! Car is now booked in for service, mot and brake fluid change next month after getting such a positive vibe from Pete I will no longer go anywhere else. Whilst paying in reception around 5pm, Pete’s staff were leaving for home to which he said to a mechanic here’s the plan for morning if you can look at this first job it’s urgent to which his mechanic said I’ll take a look now and diagnose the fault. Pete had to say get home to your kids you’ve been here all day I will see you in the morning! That says two things, the staff care about their work offering to stay back and Pete cares about his staff! That’s the kind of local garage I want to support anyway! Car feels fantastic! First time having a terraclean done and being a little ocd with my car felt I’d left it in good hands hence returning next month. Anyone debating using this garage or not shouldn’t think twice!    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Top-notch service and genuine care—highly recommended! I had my car booked in for a service and MOT at Holmfield MOT repairs and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment it was booked in, the team was friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. The car has been in the family since 2009 and without me being aware they collected, serviced and mot’d the car, bringing it back to showroom condition (they even put a bow on it! ) They kept me informed throughout, explained everything in a way that made sense (without overwhelming jargon), and even flagged a couple of minor issues I wasn’t aware of—no pressure, just honest advice. What stood out most was the care and respect they showed—not just for the vehicle, but for me as a customer. It’s rare to find that combination of expertise and genuine integrity.    I have used Holmfield MOT and Repairs for a number of years and always received exceptional customer service. Pete and his staff are friendly, honest, reliable and knowledgeable. I have always been contacted prior to any work being carried out on any unexpected issues with a full breakdown of what the issues were. The team have had to recover me from the roadside in the past and after 48 hours I had my car back in working order at a very reasonable price. Garages like this are few and far between today with knowledgeable mechanics who can fix your vehicle at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend Pete and his team to family and friends.

   Have used this company for many years and they always provide the best service ,they do the very best to offer a suitably priced job ,never over charge and always take the time to fit me in where ever possible. if I could give them 10 stars I would. My wipers failed New Year’s Eve and I just took my car, left it on the forecourt whilst garage was closed and rang first available open day ,they fit me in and sorted it out ,excellent and exceptional service.
