   Review: Avoid at All Costs Absolutely shocking service. We were involved in a serious accident back in August, and since then nothing has moved forward at all. The only thing they managed to arrange was medicals — and that’s where the progress ended. Considering the severity of our accident, it is disgusting that no real action has ever been taken, despite all the promises they made. We phoned them constantly, often every single day, and never received updates, returned calls, or any kind of support. Our mental health has suffered massively because we’ve been left completely in the dark with no communication whatsoever. We requested our case file to be sent to our new solicitors so the claim could actually move forward. They ignored the request, ignored messages in the portal, and even after calling last Friday, nothing was done. Our new solicitors have been chasing them too, and if they miss the deadline, this will be reported to the SRA. This firm has shown nothing but neglect, poor communication, and a total lack of professionalism. Would put -5 stars but unfortunately google wouldn’t allow this, happy to take anyone’s questions and happy to take this to the press

   I hate giving negative reviews but I feel I have no choice with this service, if they need help improving their service. My case handler was not responsive for most of my queries posted to my portal, even coming to the point when my wife was waiting for calls to be returned from management but they never replied even though they said they would. This was not a good experience, and for times I felt the whole matter stressful. I would not recommend this company due to not being kept up to date and the length of time it took for a resolution. It took my wife's phone calls before they chased up a technical issue which was causing delays and information I provided as regards to my claim was lost!! My original case handler was changed midway through my claim and I wasn't even informed.

   I had very positive experience with Lyons Davidson with everyone I dealt with. My case was handled really well and I am so relieved with the outcome. In this review I have to mention Lee Davis particularly who was amazing, he could not have been more helpful. I highly recomend this firm.

   I have unfortunately had a very poor experience with Lyons Davidson Solicitors and would not recommend them. I was obliged to instruct this firm as they were the only solicitors on my insurer’s panel. In hindsight, had I checked their reviews beforehand, I would have realised the difficulties I was likely to encounter. Over the course of two years, my case was handed to four different case handlers. Despite raising complaints and even requesting that a partner personally oversee the matter, this was refused. It became apparent that the firm has difficulty retaining staff, which inevitably led to inconsistencies, oversights, and a lack of accountability in handling my case. Communication was also a persistent issue. I frequently had to chase updates via repeated emails, and arranging a short phone call with my case handler often took a week or more. Proactivity and clear guidance were sorely lacking throughout. In my view, the firm appeared more focused on prolonging the process than on achieving a satisfactory outcome. While they continually reassured me that my case was strong, I could not escape the impression that such assurances were routine rather than based on a genuine assessment. As they are paid by insurers regardless of the result, there seemed little incentive to bring matters to an efficient resolution. In summary, my dealings with LD Solicitors have been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to seek alternative legal representation.

   After a bit of a slow start due to COVID, this really started to move middle of 2022 when my case was moved to Victoria Priestley, but the excellent service came to play when Marco Severini took over. His communication was beyond expectation, he always had the time to spend working things through making sure all was fully understood. Not once did I think that my case didn't count when Marco took over. I would high recommend this company and especially Marco.

   So things started off not to well as we had a change of solicitors about 5-6 times. However we eventually got Marco Severini dealing with our case and I have to say he was brilliant, great communication, always called when he said he would and followed up with paperwork as stated. He never rushed us and was always happy to explain the legal speak so we understood things clearly. He hired a really good barrister called James Nieto on the day of our hearing and I'm delighted to say we WON..... Highly recommend

   Please avoid, avoid, avoid this company. I am being harassed by these lawyers or should I say liars for a number of months now via Aviva insurance for an accident I was not part of. They have been paid and overpaid in relation to this claim from the appropriate party and they are still perusing me. Countless times I called and was promised a response and call back but they are using the tactic to keep quiet and not admit the error so I can't use their correspondence as harassment in court. Team, don't worry, karma will do it's magic :)

   Lyons Davidson have been pretty usesless in assisting me, the time it has taken them to consider a viable claim, which they initially agreed to take on but then decided not to, months after acknowledging the claim has been extremely poor. This is not based on the criteria of the case being over 50% successful, which it is but more of a case that the company refuse to do their jobs and provide an adequate basic service. Unfortunately, I have felt it necessary to raise a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman & Financial Services Authority.
