I would like to say about my very positive experience that I had at Halfords in Bowling Lane Bradford today when I brought my Kia Niro for mot Ian who was managing the reception was very welcoming, efficient, kind and respectful. I was so impressed with his communication and support and would definitely recommend their service.
Came in to Halfords to have my indicator light changed which was done so quickly and efficiently! While they did this they noticed my tyre pressures needed doing and did this free of charge! So helpful and friendly thank you!!
Upon arrival you greeted very politely. Always found them to be friendly and they complete the works on time. Good service and appropriate advice. Have been using them for a few years now for repair and servicing

Took my car for full service Ian and his team did wonderful job and diagnosed the car for any other faults that it may need in the future all in all would recommend
The worst garage ive ever used Took a car for a health check on Friday morning Collected it in the afternoon with a fully working car, after two days my car was filthy with oil after i opened bonnet i noticed the dipstick was missing and car had literally no oil in the engine luckily i did not blow up the engine Called recovery which they then put the temporary cap for the engine and advised me to drop the car off outside the garage Now month later car was finally booked for cleaning the oil from the engine and its taking then over 6 hours to degrease and clean it. The people who work there probably missed the lesson where they were showing them engine, they did not explain why they didnt put it back, all they said is sorry! Please do yourself a favour and dont go there
If I could put 0 I would. I'm so angry. I took my car in to get serviced and MOT and brake pad change. I was called and told I also needed brake disks which I hadn't previously been told this was true however they said it was needed for MOT. They then advised I had spark plugs, pollen filter and brake fluid due to age. When I took my car in it was working fantastic as I've only had it six months and no issues. The evening after they did all this I started with warning lights but only flashes, it slowly progressed to full light for engine warning then on to Electrics. I took it back, they told me they had put the wrong spark plugs in so would change them. They then called to inform me my coil pack was broken and I needed a new one. When I spoke to other mechanics I was informed that the wrong spark plugs could damage my coil pack. When questioned they changed their story and said that in fact they were the right ones but possibly faulty. When questioned as to the fact that faulty ones could damage coil pack they said but they weren't faulty. I asked how they know that and was told because its still misfiring. I told them that I am well informed that the potentially faulty ones could have damaged my coil pack to which they said....they definitely aren't faulty. Yet they can not tell me how this is possible to know. This garage has essentially charged me £400 to break my car and are refusing to accept responsibility saying it must had happened later even though it started immediately after they got their hands on it. AVOID! They lie and just make you pay them to break it
Friendly guys, great customer service. Booked car in for safety check,within an hour telling me about the issues. All works were carried in a reasonable time. Will definitely be booking my car in again and will recommend.
Been for 4 wheel alignment, 2 new tyres and free brake check. All brake checks fine. Tyres absolutely fine. Can’t say I’m overly impressed with the 4 wheel alignment service paying just under £200 for 2 tyres and the wheel alignment. On first visit 2 weeks back the damaged wish bone wasn’t noticed and I had to go back with the car 2 days later as the car kept pulling to the left on its own. Took the car back and the broken wish bone was found when taken back and repaired, paid a further £185 for this repairing. Picked the car back up 2 later as it was over a weekend (not a problem), drove away and same fault pulling to the left again and the steering wheel constantly turned to the left when moving in a straight line. Taken the car back for a 3rd time and its still pulling to the left…. Cba even making a complaint directly and will go directly to customer services for a full refund as I’m incredibly annoyed. 2 weeks without my car, missed hospital appointments with my 5 month old… so incredibly annoyed. Will not recommend!
