The Denbigh is fairly local to us but hadn't visited for some time. Had heard that new landlord had taken over in the summer so called in for lunch today. My goodness what an uplift in appearance, decor, food quality, atmosphere and welcome. Every part of our experience was a delight. A smiling, welcoming landlord, gave us options for seating, attentive service and relaxed conversation. The menu is wonderful and a joy to read. The food arrived quickly, freshly prepared, piping hot, wonderful tastes! Obviously an excellent chef This isn't pub grub - it is much more towards fine dining in terms of quality, presentation and flavours. Yet the prices are very reasonable. Oh nearly forgot... the real ale was spot on too and the chips were perfection! We will be back soon. Highly recommended!

Recently taken over by a great landlord. Food was superb and extremely well priced - a proper luxury gastropub. Sunday roast was superb, great space for kids as well. Dog friendly too!

Stopped by for a drink and a small snack and was genuinely impressed by the warm atmosphere and delicious food. Had the pleasure of meeting the new owners, who were incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about the place. Lovely people, lovely setting – definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend giving it a try!

went for a family and friends meal at the weekend , the service was lovely and could not be faltered , the pints were well poured , and food for the most part was amazing. Although i did end up with food poisoning :(

Me and my partner went here for my birthday and have been here previously throughout the summer of last year and have experienced fantastic service every single time. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and so are the customers! The food is at a fantastic price with huge portions and lots of choices available. It’s a warm and cosy pub in the winter and lovely to sit outside in the pub garden during the summer. Will definitely be returning! Thank you all.

Popped in for spur of the moment drink, bar tender zero personality, not welcoming whatsoever. Went to pool room only to be glare at by a child in pyjamas, said hello, but continued to be glare at. Unpleasant experience won't be returning.
