Booked what seamed to be a nice pub with available rooms for overnight stay near Coventry. The staff when we arrived were nice, we ordered food and this came promptly to our table. The room we had booked was cold, the bathroom was also cold. It had outdated sinks and little hot water. We needed to ask for a loo roll and towels as these were not in the room. We had to wait about 25 minutes for our breakfast the next morning. All in all not a good experience.

Food looked good for others but not very good choice for gluten free unfortunately. Couldn't have burger as didn't do gf bread and couldn't have chips as they had a broken frier so it was salad which is fine, but not what I actually wanted.

When we arrived with our 2 dogs we were told by staff that our "dog friendly" room had been given away to another guest by a staff member (they try to keep dogs on the ground floor) but they very quickly gave us an upstairs room which was absolutely fine by us. My girls have had a nice stay and were very welcomed in the bar area. Nice size garden area for walking, massive car park. We also found it very quiet. We would stay here again.

Didn't dislike but very poor service knowing that near 50 people on scooters would turn up. Most gave up waiting for a coffee . Those that ordered breakfast paid well over the odds for a less than average cooked breakfast. £10 breakfast shown 50 people will be avoiding and no doubt tell another 50 people etc .. Up side big carpark and looked clean inside . Score 2 out of 10 !!

Fantastic night with great service and entertainment. Arrived late afternoon, enjoyed drink in the garden whilst the area which is excellent before moving inside for dinner. Food was high quality, staff were all amazing. Mark and James looked after us, they were both brilliant and are a credit to the business. We then enjoyed live music until closing time. Thanks for a wonderful night.

Came on a Saturday night. Had an amazing night. Scott, the manager, was lovely and extremely chatty. Mark was very nice too. I came a few years ago and this was a completely different experience - for the better. The food was lovely, the service was five star, the staff were attentive and friendly and I felt extremely welcomed. Will come again.

4 of us for food. Had to change decision on 3 of the main meals, then no desserts we chose available. 1 starter half prepared, had to ask twice for it to be corrected as salmon and crusty roll missing, just threw on top of the meal, given bread instead of the advertised roll. Not even an acknowledgement of mistakes or lack of food choice with a apology. Food cold on all 4 main meals. Meals slammed onto the table when given to us. Staff stood talking while we waited to be served. Not even a thank you or a smile, they definitely didn’t want to serve us. I work in public service health and would never serve anyone the way we were served and what we were served with. Been going there for years, never again, will be advising everyone not to go there. We waisted £94. If I could give minus stars I would.

It's a beautiful place, so warm and cozy. Just what's needed at this time of year. We sat by the fireplace, which was regularly tended too and soaked up the atmosphere and wonderfully quirky decor. The staff members were really welcoming and helpful with the menu and allergens. They do have a non gluten containing menu as well as a Vegetarian one with Vegan options. Unfortunately there wasn't much I could have with my allergies so ended up with an odd combo as the skewers weren't available but I really appreciated their efforts helping make something up. The food was okay but nothing to write home about for my meal or the other standard linguini meal. The price was decent but a shame there's no alternative to milk as I would enjoy going back for a coffee whilst enjoying the atmosphere and service.

Delicious food, and lots of it. Had a great time. Although we came quite late as a party of 15, the staff accommodated us. Thank you.
