   November 18th ordered and paid for a new car battery for fitting at 1100 on November 20th. Arrived in time and was seen to straight away. New battery brought out to car, old one removed. New one is too big and not the one I ordered from Halfords website @ £200 inc fitting. Different battery is located and fitted. Now comes the kicker. The battery that fits the car is £35 more than that that I ordered. Looking at the website on getting home, not one of the batteries that are supposedly 'suitable' for my vehicle would have fitted, all are too big. The one that was actually fitted has the notice 'may not be suitable for your vehicle', but it fits. Halfords, you need to get your website right. On a brighter note, the young man who fitted the battery was very polite and efficient and carried out the job well. Not his fault that the website is wrong. Lost another star. I contacted the helpline link that Ruth provided and had contact with Ankush. After a lengthy on line chat, I was told that my problem would be looked into and sorted. Being 'looked into and sorted' came in the form of a call from the Coalville store with an apology and nothing else apart from skirting around my dissatisfaction and telling me there was nothing else the store could do. Pathetic.

   this store is terrible. i won’t be visiting again. i went to the store as a customer there, didnt put my reg into the tablet at the front because i didn’t know at the time. i was not in the store that long and had my receipt to show. got a parking fine in the mail in august 2025. went to the store. they took my details after i showed the receipt as proof and said dont worry the charge will be removed and sorted. it wasn’t. got another mail today say its final demand and a higher charge!!! i trusted the girl at the front to do her job and get it sorted as she promise when i first came in. i wont be paying that. absolutely ridiculous and someone at this store isn’t doing their job. came in to complain yesterday and they said there’s nothing they can do i have to reach out to the parking company to battle it out which is completely unacceptable.

   I like halfords but getting a fine for visiting the store is ridiculous! I've had 2 now and bought something both times, I was only there for 32 minutes!!! and the staff say nothing about the fact that you'll get a fine for parking in their car park and visiting their store! I'll be going to other halfords from now on as £60 a time is ridiculous!

   Had a new battery fitted. Prices actually matched Amazon so I was really please. Got free fitting with the battery I joined the with premium plus membership. Looking at all the benefits after the battery fit, it is well worth it. Surprisingly very pleased. The staff were brilliant, the service was great nothing to complain about.

   I received the very best service possible. Your member of Staff was outstanding in ever thing he did. He received me in a very professional manner, listened to my requirements, advised me on the best way to solve my problems, then went into the store to collect my items. it is because of members of staff, such as him, that you will get repeat business.

   Number plate made and fitted not cleaned area for application.... moss etc dripping down... Call centre chat does not understand??? Staff extremely helpful and professional, Halfords HQ... get some more staff, give them the chance to finish jobs. Not their fault if rushed... Cleaned up nicely now..

   Easy to find on a main road in a main retail area. Good amount of parking outside. Plenty of stock inside... An audio section on display. A nice sized cycle section upstairs including children's bikes.. Good customer service, accepted a returned item that didn't fit the vehicle with ease. I cannot fault at all.
