Avoid this place like the plague. I travelled all the way from Llanelli to Bradford on March 8th, 2025 to buy a 2007 Land Rover Discovery from TS Motors. From the second we arrived, something felt off. The car was being constantly revved in the car park, and they refused to turn it off. I asked directly if there were any suspension or mechanical issues—they told me everything was fine and that it had a fresh MOT done that morning. We paid £1,845, signed the paperwork, and left. Not even five minutes down the road, the engine warning light came on. Forty-five minutes into the drive, we were hit with a barrage of dashboard faults: suspension failure, transmission fault, brake disc issues, and more. Then—on the M60, trying to overtake a lorry—the car cut out, went into limp mode, and the steering locked. We nearly had a serious accident. We ended up stranded, police had to help escort us off the motorway, and eventually the car became completely undriveable. One of the rear tyres blew out, and we were stuck overnight in freezing cold temperatures. I’ve just come out of hospital with blood and lung infections, and this whole ordeal could have killed us. The garage initially told us someone was coming to collect the vehicle and that we’d get a refund. That never happened. We sent them the location of the car, and after that—silence. No one showed, no refund, and no apology. Now we’re receiving threatening messages, and to make matters worse, the car has since been damaged—after we left it—and they’re trying to blame us to avoid giving a refund. We have video proof of how we left the vehicle. This company has been dishonest, careless, and completely unprofessional. Do not trust them, do not give them your money, and do not make the same mistake we did.

I travelled down to bradford from Llanelli on the 9:28am train on the 8th of march 2025 to purchase a 2007 landrover discovery from ts motors in Bradford Upon arriving I was met by a female and a male was sat inside the landrover discovery revving the engine, I had a good look around the car and underneath and took it for a test drive all seemed fine, but they wouldn't turn the engine off or stop running it round the car park, which I thought was off, We paid for the car £1845 signed the papers and all was fine. I asked her if the car has ever had suspension issues or anything as it's well known for those cars for the suspension to play up, she assured me all was fine that it had just had a fresh mot that morning. We left with the car all seemed fine, we pulled up to a garage 5 minutes away round the corner and the car came up with the engine light on the dash. We pulled in filled up and went on our way after checking under the bonnet of the car and all seemed fine, 45 minutes into our journey suspension fault comes up on the dash boards and transmission fault and Copland fault, brake disc fault also, at this point I've told my partner I want to take the car back but it was shut. We ended up lost and on the motorway m60 when I was trying to over take a lorry doing 65/70 mph and the whole car cut out and shook , went into limp mode and the steering locked up, all the lights on the dash were flickering and messages of faults popping in and out of focus. I managed to swerve away from the lorry and gradually slow down and rolled into the hard shoulder. There was an awful burning smell and the car wouldn't move so I turned it off and by then the police had pulled in to ask us what had happened. We explained our situation and they were so helpful, they helped escort us off the m60 to safety to we could find somewhere safe to pull in to check the car. We found a Tesco we pulled into, checked it over and nothing. Tried to reverse the car to pull out of the parking space I was in and it wouldn't move. It was making and awful metal on metal screeching sound. I turned the car off and tried again and literally dragged it with my foot to the floor out of the car park. Not far down the road the back passenger side tire blew and we were stranded in Frodsham next to a bridge. We rang everyone including the woman at the garage and we spoke to a man who told us not to move that someone was coming to recover it and give us a refund. No one came and me and my partner slept in the car all night. It was freezing. I've not long got out of hospital myself with an infection in my blood and lungs. By morning there was still no answer and no one came. The woman from the garage called around 9am to apologise and told us to leave the car and focus on getting home, that they were going to recover the car and asked me to send them a pin drop location of where the car was. I did that and no reply since! We made several attempts to contact the garage and had nothing and no refund! My partners been refused a refund by the bank and the fraud team so now I'm writing to make a formal complaint regarding being refused the refund We’ve now had threatening messages a week later Only now they have attempted to collect the car and someone has damaged it We have proof this was not us and took a video of how we left the car . Now the car has been damaged by the company and they are making lies up so they don’t have to refund us our money
