Always great place to pop in for a quick snack and drink. Had a guest beer as part of beer week called cashmere, citrus lemony flavour. A double Berry vodka and 8 scampi, lovely. Fairly quick service. OMG popped in Friday night with friends, great atmosphere, ordered food and drinks. Drinks delivered fairly promptly, but no ice bucket for prosecco. When the food came by 2 staff one asked about the 2 meals he carried the other member of staff threw the plates of food, I mean why, also she must have carried one of the meals on top of the other as there was a dish indentation in my friends mash, take a look. Must say the food tasted really good, Korean chicken bowl, katsu chicken, scampi, pie and mash.

Great food, which you can see as they ship tons of it. The staff are constantly coming out of the kitchen with plates. Friendly staff, great prices.

A Sunday morning in Barry to enjoy a walk by the sea. Although we had not planned to have breakfast we decided on a quick one on Wetherspoons. It was good at a very reasonable cost. The bar was clean with good service.

It's not bad at all in here. Lots of room inside and outside. Tidy. We even invented a drink "The Barrie" Rum and Gin. Straight. Lovely

Historical pub with pretty outside and charming interior. Unfortunately food nothing special. Huge menu, pitza, burgers, fish and chips and other pub classics. Fantastic drinks from cocktails to beer on tap. Good place for drinks and if you stick to pub classics food okay. Problem is food pre cooked. Walk from Barry station or if staying at mount sorrel just down the hill from there. Toilets on site and plenty of parking. Good place for a get together with friends. TV’s for sport fans. Friendly staff and good service. Prices reasonable Love your local guide- M❤️ Like or follow me

Wetherspoons in Barry is a popular spot for those looking for affordable and casual dining options. The venue's location is easily accessible, and the interior decor is cozy and comfortable. The menu features a wide range of food options, including classic British pub food, vegetarian and vegan options, and a good selection of drinks. However, it is unfortunate to note that the drinks served at Wetherspoons in Barry have received negative feedback. Customers have reported that the quality of the drinks is not up to par, with some complaints of watered-down drinks and incorrect measurements. While the food may be a redeeming factor, it is essential to consider that the quality of drinks is a significant aspect of a pub's success. In conclusion, Wetherspoons in Barry may be a suitable option for a casual meal or drink, but if you are looking for a good quality drink, this might not be the right place for you. It is recommended that the management of the venue takes the necessary steps to improve the quality of the drinks to provide customers with a better overall experience.

Lovely staff but not enough working on a busy Saturday night. The bar was 3 deep all the way around with only 3 people serving. We were encouraged to use the app which we do regularly in the Cardiff pubs first round we waited 35 mins next round was 45 mins and we collected them from the side of the bar! There was one girl runner taking out the drinks who was working flat out. More staff needed on a Saturday match day! Not impressed won't recommend.

Sorry. Not a good experience tonight. Tables were dirty and sections were not cleaned. Had to send food back because it was burnt and then had to chase someone down again for napkins and forks. Not a great night I'm afraid. For the speed it came out theres clearly not a back log or rush so why the poor quality?
