Visited the area for the b/h weekend and called in for a quick pint while waiting for a takeaway from next door. Despite the early hour the place was rocking and the music great, could have stopped all night.
Amazing pub don't judge a book by its cover I started going there awhile back and they are like family, staff are friendly and approachable, great locals and welcoming, even if it's just one pint.

What a place. Music absolutely belting out at 3pm on a Tuesday. It's cheap as chips - £5.60 for a Carling and a Guinness... outrageous prices really. There’s a pool table. I never went into the bogs so not sure what they’re like. Looked like a local crowd who seemed friendly enough. Possibly one or two drunks in there, but no harm whatsoever. Decent pub which has disco’s and karaoke’s.
New landlord and he's such a great guy ... beer is cheep ... all the locals are friendly... great for groups ... would go again.
