Everything was very good - customer service and friendliness of staff. Food was excellent - taste, quantity & temperature, we all thoroughly enjoyed all courses. Drinks too were very good. Will certainly be visiting again
Had amazing roast beef Sunday dinner yesterday! I polished whole thing off. Lovely service and great layout and atmosphere. Especially with laughter around Xmas time
My girlfriend and myself went to see a rock covers band, The Rooters. I've seen them many times previously at various venues.... good classic rock band.....bit of an odd venue for a rock band though, as its a large pub that primarily provides food...and caters for your average pub goer....not the rock crowd you'd usually get at such a gig. Also the area the band plays (not a stage) is only able to be viewed by a few people seated (luckily we got there early and got a couple of bar stools to put at the table infront of the band) unless you stand....most other tables and seating is away from the band area and around a corner. Overall a good night of rock music, and drinks average priced . Would go again.
Got a voucher for 40% off so thought this would be the perfect place for a meal as I've got my nephew staying over. Booked in for food for today for 4 people, get here and they tell you no children. They don't tell you on the voucher, don't tell you when booking a table, they tell you when you've wasted time coming out for a meal. A whole place not accepting children in 2025 is ridiculous, permanently lost business, will never try here again
Amy organised a Christmas bingo to promote Christmas. Well done absolutely brilliant. Everyone enjoyed and wanted more. Outstanding service. Helpful and very knowledgeable staff. Nothing is to much. Very efficient team. Food outstanding service 5 stars. Would highly recommend

Went here for lunch. The atmosphere is ok but I would say they are a little short on space. The food was ok, little bit too oily but the desert wasn’t great - the fudge cake was sticky and dry. Their service is very slow but they were very busy. Wouldn’t recommend
Christmas Lunch with the girls.... Absolutely fantastic service ! Food was gorgeous, can not fault it at all. Roast potatoes were like butter ! Price was spot on Kai and the team could not have been more accommodating. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. I will certainly be back soon for another festive lunch Fi
The staff were great. Really friendly and happy to help. We were there for a funeral and were worried about people walking in off the streets and joining the mourners but the management had given us a lovely area at the front and made sure people knew there was a wake going on. Thank you to all the team for making a difficult day that much easier to get through!
It was very busy when we went but bar staff managed to keep up so we weren't waiting too long to be served. There's plenty of space, and everywhere was kept clean. It was very loud, though. There was a live band later on - I wasn't impressed with them, they were too loud, didn't seem to have prepared, and repeated the same few songs. The pub is very large so plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Selection of drinks was good with prices in keeping with similar places in the area. Good toilet facilities, and wheelchair accessible.
