I waited 15 minutes for a tea cake! Asked for a refund- that took another 15 minutes. Tables uncleared Barista wiping steam spout with cloth but not running steam to clear not hygienic Awful understaffed would not recommend ever!!
Really disappointed! I have used this cafe several times with no issue. However today's service was most definitely the poorest I have ever experienced. I ordered two coffees for myself and my older sister together with two toasted tea cakes. I was told that there would be a 5-10 wait for the tea cakes. I didn't mind this at all. The coffee was tasteless. Almost as if hot water poured onto milk. We waited for 20mins for teacakes so I approached the counter and asked where they were? I was told that they had forgotten them! When they arrived the edges were burnt and inedible. I'm sorry but I won't be going back to this cafe again.
Love the food. But had chilli and jacket potato with side salad. Yet again no tomatoes or salad dressing. This is not the first time , but yet again told they have run out. It was 1 o'clock, lunch time. They need to sort this out.
Ordered Coffee, Tea & a Teacake @ 11.25am today. Still had Not received The Teacakeafter 25 minutes despite My Wife chasing it 3 times !! Finally got My money back for The Teacake.. The fact Our drinks were virtually cold waiting for The Teacake We should have been credited for The Drinks as well. Service abysmal .Get MORE Staff !!!.
On a Wednesday morning I was waited over 10 minutes before I was served. With dairy and soy allergy they didn't offer me much help. Really disappointed
A lovely place to meet friends for lunch and coffee. Very friendly staff and really tasty food make this a great place to visit.
Used to be a good place for a coffee. The last few months you can never be served. Waiting 20mins one time. Only ever one person serving. Seems enough staff but usually in the back not wanting to serve.
Short elder woman served me with such an arrogant attitude all because I asked if their hot chocolate came with marshmallows. I WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN....if shes the manager god help them! she needs customer service training or the sack....
Served by a young man who was so polite and enthusiastic! So nice, absolutely made my day. He was really nice and really made people feel good. Good price, super cheap and yummy! Look forward to going again
