I ordered two drinks. One was an iced white hot chocolate and a tropical smoothie. I feel I would start suffering from diabetes, because the white chocolate drink was laced with high amounts of sugar. It felt like half a cup of sugar per drink. So sweet. For the tropical smoothie, I wouldn't call it a "tropical" smoothie. As there was more pineapple than any other flavour. Maybe they should call it a Pineapple smoothie instead. The staff were slightly rude and not very helpful. Don't believe that I'll be visiting there again.

Amazing community cafe. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and accommodating and the food is amazing. The chai tea and cakes are not to be missed! Really nice location. Such a great asset for Grangetown.

I can’t speak for the food at this place; it looks lovely but I’ve never tried anything. My reason for writing a review is that I approached the lady working behind the window today - a middle aged woman who sounded French maybe. I asked if I could buy plastic bags as I needed them for my pupils who were collecting leaves for their lesson. I was polite and even greeted her, and asked 2 or 3 times because each time she was like “What? What are you talking about bags? What bags?!”, despite speaking in plain English and even explaining clearly. Her demeanour was horrible to the point where even the teaching assistant who was with me was shocked. At the time I couldn’t really react as my pupils were right behind me listening to her have a go at me basically. In all honestly I wouldn’t have dignified her with a reaction anyway, over some bags? I hope whoever reads this review can speak to her about customer service, and leaving possible problems at home. I didn’t deserve to be spoken to like that, especially in front of my students.

The cakes are delicious. My personal favourite is the cornflake blondie. Great place!

Great place to take the kids, while you chill. My son recommended the Bombay Toastie, it was unusual; but delicious. My coffee was excellent, I’m so tired of weak, tasteless coffee, the cappuccino I had was very good. Great service, the girl was on her own; cheerful and I didn’t wait long. I will be going back for the curry.
