Super friendly staff, fast service and tasty food with amazing portion sizes, always leave here nice and full. Staff member even gave a complimentary slice of cake after my meal to try. Great place.
Ordered 2 beef Sunday lunches absolutely terrible not cooked fresh. Very small portions 3 roasties no other potatoes. Gravy so thick couldn't get it out of the tub and no where near enough not home made bisto. Frozen veg mainly sprouts. Tiny cheap frozen Yorkshire. Hardly any meat which was chewy and obviously left overs frozen them warmed up same with the roasties not freshly cooked. Had to cook more potatoes child size portion. Worst dinner I have ever had never again will I use this cafe. Didn't want to cook so ordered takeaway and have ended up cooking anyway. Very disappointed. Do not order Sunday dinner here complete waste of money
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing first experience! Visited Saffron Cafe for the first time today, and the service was outstanding. Stacey went above and beyond, she took our order at the table and even brought us the cutlery, when normally it’s self-service. She was so friendly and attentive throughout. The food and coffee were both excellent too. Highly recommend this place if you want great food, great coffee, and exceptional service!
We went here Tuesday mid afternoon the place was spotless. Plenty of soft seating areas to relax. The service was excellent, quick & friendly. The coffees were the best we'd had for months & the bill for 2 was £2 cheaper than we normally pay. Although we didn't eat on this occasion the menu was varied & again inexpensive. £18 minimum to order for delivery is very steep, considering the monster breakfast is £10, having to spend another £8 is ridiculous if your ordering just for yourself considering theres also a £3 delivery on top of the £18 minimum order so your you're looking at spending £20+. Not worth ordering from but I'm sure it is good to go to In person
What a fantastic, down to earth, place this is. Extensive menu with all the classics. We ‘pimped’ our full English order by getting cheese on toast with extra bacon, egg, sausage and hash brown instead of the set breakfast. The food came SUPER-quick and was plentiful and really tasty. The staff were also friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Can’t recommend highly enough for a relaxed, delicious brunch!

Very affordable and reasonably priced. Huge portions of delicious food. Very friendly and attentive service. Husband and I are both vegetarians, and we were thrilled with the options for us. Definitely going back.
