Had a wonderful Christmas afternoon celebrating a 70th birthday. The atmosphere and the staff were warm and welcoming. The food was plentiful and delicious! Beautiful presentation. Will definitely be back in the future.
First visit after reading good reviews. Lovely cosy inside venue and bonus outdoor seating in the “beer” garden. Pleasant service. My food was lovely, jacket potato with generous filling, lovely mixed fresh salad & coleslaw on the side. Potato could have been hotter. Time limited parking nearby. Overall enjoyed.
Went for breakfast this morning at 9.30am and I was so impressed! The food was delicious and good value for the quality they are offering. The lady who served us was so welcoming and helpful. We had children with us and she was really good with them and tailored our order. The mystery to me is why it was quiet. There was one other table occupied when we we there and as we left at 11am another table was being taken. The Gallery is clearly Barry’s best kept secret and really deserves to be busy because the food and service and surroundings are perfect. I will definitely be back and would recommend it to everyone.
I love this little place where I sit doing my work, coffees are amazing, I always get jacket potato and it is nice and filling. apparently it’s through a charity, there’s always lots of classes of some sort upstairs…I went to toilets and it was very clean to say the least. There’s parking outside on the street only downside is it’s 2 hours… or there’s Barry train station, where you can park as it’s a 5 min walk well for me! The young girl at till is really polite and works hard. It does get busy here since there’s lots of mums with pushchairs every now and then but all in all a good atmosphere..I shall definitely go back for sure!
Nice coffee and not stupid prices like our greedy American chains.
Had the most amazing take out from The Gallery’s most recent pop up with The Real Ting. We had all the vegan options, everything was so delicious and really good value. Looking forward to the next pop up.
Really like this coffee house. Great coffee, cakes and pleasant staff. If it's sunny they have a lovely garden area.
