Wow, what a pleasure to arrive at a well managed customer focussed Starbucks. The staff were efficient and the drinks were served within three minutes of me arriving in store. What a delight after a very different experience in a nearby store. Thanks to Isaac and the team for looking after us so well. I'll be back.
Came into brewery quarter today on business and stopped in Starbucks. A man was quite confrontational and looked as though he was going to attack the staff until an absolute hero who I presumed worked in the company as he had a Starbucks jacket, leaped in and removed him from the store and comforted a woman who was clearly very upset. I absolutely take my hat off to that boy and hope he reads this review! You really saved the day
I usually don’t bother leaving reviews, but this visit was honestly disappointing. I came in around mid-morning, and the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in hours — tables were sticky, bins overflowing, and the floor was covered in napkins and spilled milk. The staff looked completely uninterested; one barista was chatting behind the counter while the queue kept growing. When I finally got served, my drink (a flat white) was lukewarm and tasted burnt — definitely not what you expect for £4+. I asked politely if they could remake it, and the person at the till looked annoyed and just said “that’s how it comes.” No apology, no effort to fix it. To make things worse, there were no clean seats, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. I ended up leaving half my drink and going to the Costa down the road instead — at least they smiled and wiped the tables there. Really disappointing experience. For a company that prides itself on “premium coffee” and customer service, this Starbucks completely missed the mark. Won’t be coming back anytime soon. --- Would you like me to make it sound more professional (like from an adult customer) or more casual/frustrated (like a real social-media-style review)?
Service was fantastic, the ladies behind the counter were so welcoming and friendly. Good coffee too which always helps.
Came in to get drinks and food, they do a good range, although on the expensive side! Service was good and friendly, plenty of seating inside and out. Toilet facilities - although broken and unusable when we visited. Hot chocolate was very nice.
We use this Starbucks on a regular basis. The staff are always polite and friendly, drinks made promptly and they are always as asked for. This particular visit I was served by Jorge, Harvey and Rob who were all very attentive and served the drinks (and snacks) with a smile.
It could be so much better if they could just keep the place clean..... It's 5 mins walk to the station from here so it has everything going for it except pride in cleanliness.....
I've had such pleasant experiences with this Starbucks location. It is small and has a cosy atmosphere, which is perfect for studying. The opening hours are long too, which is a bonus for when I'm studying. The baristas are so friendly too! Connor, in particular, was lovely, and gave everyone little samples of the new Christmas coffee blend. I've also come here to pick up Too Good To Go bags. The service has always been quick, and I've always had a good selection of food items in the bags! :)
I had ordered Five Cheese toast which constituted Vegetarian ingredients but they have served me with non veg inside the bread how insensitive can they get. Thankfully I did realise it when it tasted different. Not appreciated at all Starbucks. I didn’t expect the customer service to be so poor.
Went to this Starbucks today and got a limited edition Halloween drink! Cherries and cream! Was quite yummy but perhaps not worth the £5.05! Still, the service was great and the queue went quickly. Glad I tried the drink, but perhaps I’d only recommend getting the tall not the Venti as it’s better value for money :)
