Coffee is fine but the workers decided to badmouth me and my friends thinking we didn’t speak English. They smiled and were nice to every costumer but us. They also decided to give us “English” names or letters instead of our names.
We both asked for our drinks in takeaway cups - and were charged 5p each for it - but got our drinks in ceramic cups. Gingerbread latte somehow had cold foam despite being freshly made. Also one of us asked for a medium drink and the other a large (couldn't remember the Starbucks naming system) yet both our drinks came out as a large and were charged accordingly. It wasn't even busy!
I really like this Starbucks, why is it different to all other Starbucks. The location,the ambience and friendly,happy,smiley staff. Staff can change a venue for better or for worse and this Starbucks is getting a five star for the smile. And a great Cappuchino!
For two years, at least one day a week, I've cherished my time in this vibrant branch, using my laptop in a space that fuels my creativity. However, in the last six months, I've noticed that the Saturday afternoon crew is closing off half of the lounge an hour early or asking customers to relocate, often initiated by a young lady who seems to be part of the management team. Finding a cosy spot with a table and access to a plug is essential for me. I believe this approach may unintentionally overlook the loyalty of dedicated customers. Despite the charm of the location, its accessibility, and the great Starbucks offerings, I sense a lack of attentiveness to customers during these specific hours. It often feels like the message conveyed is, "Get out of here," wrapped in a smile, or you don't have the right to select your seat.
Fantastic services. Staff are extremely helpful when placing drinks orders. Staff are helpful when having extra requests for drinks I ordered. The seating area is comfortable. Starbucks has a wide range of teas, coffees, frappuccinos and hot and cold food items. Great selection of in-store merchandise. Dog friendly and puppuccino available.
Vicky was really nice and made me like a specific item even more after recommendation. I will never forget. It made all the difference in the world, also the attention and care she paid to me in particularly to explain, I was impressed.
I was served tonight after an incident had happened outside the store by the loveliest lady, I think her name was Gemma. I’d had an awful day and her kindness really cheered me up, and the hot chocolate she made was the best I’ve had from Starbucks- thank you
No speciality or Christmas teas available. Offered Earl Grey? Lemon loaf cake is the best but expensive per slice. Lovely friendly lady cleaning tables. A pleasure to engage with in conversation.
Painfully slow service, a simple got drink took 15mins to make and serve in a take away cup . Watched as the staff moved like they was in a daze.. seriously service issues need to be addressed
When we visited this coffee shop the service was extremely slow. Seating area was very full and extremely dark due to poor lighting. The atmosphere used to be nice here but not anymore. There are plenty of other coffee shops that offer a much nicer experience within the vicinity.
