We had a brilliant family get-together here last Sunday. We booked at short notice and the staff were so accommodating even giving us a private area for our party of 17, where we were also able to watch the football. Everybody ate and the food and service was superb! Also great value. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back.
The main problem is the dishonesty of the management. The Duffryn Arms has a legal obligation under GDPR law to safeguard customer data. The management at the Duffryn Arms are lazy, rude and incompetent. We made a legitimate Subject Access Request and were simply ignored. Our follow up was also ignored. That's how the Duffryn Arms regards its customers. Well, we regard you with a 1 star review for you disregard for the law. Boycotted now, and boycotted by a growing group.
The pub is now doing food in the morning very nice too
Not sure why it says real ale is served here because it isn’t Just walked 20 mins in the snow from my hotel to here and the only thing that could be described as ale is Worthington Smooth flow Not worth the cold and wet Oh and it stinks of cigarettes
A typical local , not a bad place to have a chilled out drink . Good selection too . The beer garden is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by .
Outstanding boozer this. Working away in the area and this place was an amazing find. No frills local estate pub, every person I spoke to in here was friendly and welcoming. Decent pint too, next time I am in Wales I will be calling in.
Excellent PCR Testing facilities. Staff very organized and helpful. Don't know about the pub as it was not serving whilst we were there.
