   I’ve been using this place for a couple of years now. The owner only does MOT’s and is not affiliated to any third party garage. The service is second to none and the owner seems to be genuinely passionate about cars. I brought my underused Boxster in, it having sat unused over winter, to the extent I needed to change the battery a week ago. Since then, it was idling high and was losing power intermittently. I fully expected to fail the MOT and I’d already resigned myself to booking into a garage. However my MOT was due and I thought I may as well get it checked over before taking it for any diagnostic repairs etc. I went for a coffee while the MOT was being done and retuned after forty minutes, expecting to hear the words ‘it’s a fail’. Not only did it pass, but when I drove off the idle speed was back to normal and there was no loss of power… I haven’t driven since, however it feels as if it has been tweaked (for the better) whilst the MOT was done. I have read other reviews here that say minor repairs etc have been done to ensure cars pass. I haven’t had the chance to phone and ask as the garage is, happily, busy but I will pop in next time I’m near to see if anything was done. Either way, I continue to be more than happy with the service I receive when visiting here and will co time to bring any cars here. Highly recommended

   TRUSTWORTHY! The important thing about this place is that he doesn't do repairs himself, so you know that you are getting an honest appraisal of your vehicle. He's not going to fail you, so that he can sell you a set of tires or a new exhaust. The above is why I started using him, but above this, the customer service and experience is second to none. it is easy to book in and the gentleman is punctual. This time around I was able to schedule an appointment to work in my lunch break. Further to this, he went above and beyond, even completing a small repair, so that he send me on my way with a pass. He goes above and beyond. Outstanding, thank you.

   Super friendly, very professional. Honest. I've been having my car's mot'd here for years, I wouldn't go anywhere else. He won't make stuff up be as he doesn't need the work but at the same time if your car isn't roadworthy it will be failed.( But with helpful advice on the repairs needed)
