   I booked a consultation, was not given a good breakdown. Orthodontist was very rude, made us feel incompetent, I am a private patient, it seems if you question them too much, they think you be troublesome, the management is biased with their consultants. Worst thing ever,they removed us as NHS patients from their practice because I was not happy with the consultation as I private patient.

   Adam and Liv made me feel very comfortable during my visit on 12.08.25. Adam took time to explain to me the reasons for my tooth extraction and he was very gentle in carrying out the procedure. All the staff I came into contact with were friendly and polite. I would recommend, without hesitation Hallcross Dental practice, Wigston, Leicester.

   I've been a patient of Hallcross and their predecessors since I was a toddler in the late 1960s. I've never been to another dentists in my life. I've been lucky and haven't needed a lot of dental treatment over the years, but last Saturday a large chunk of one of my top teeth broke off, which required a large filling. Hallcross got it looked at quickly and this afternoon, Dr Jeevan Sandhar and her assistant Erica made a wonderful job of repairing the tooth. I was expecting it to be just a sort of flat filling, but somehow she's been able to make it into a very close replica of the missing bit, in spite of not having the original to copy (thankfully, because I swallowed it!) I must add that I suffer quite badly from a gagging reflex these days, but both ladies were brilliant in allowing me to collect myself as necessary, while still doing an excellent job of the filling. Given I think I must be quite a challenging patient to treat, I can't thank them both enough for what they did.

   Had a wonderful experience with Hallcross today, after searching for NHS dentists without much luck I found that Hallcross were indeed taking new patients, allowing me to book online for a starter appointment in a few days. I also booked an emergency appointment for the same day and was not charged private fee as I had expected I would be, but the usual NHS fee. The dentist was also excellent, putting fears of an abcess to rest. Highly recommended - great to see that NHS dentistry is still available.

   I've just got home from my first proper check-up in years. Naheem was who I saw and I just wanted to say a massive thank you to him. He was so kind, honest but not horrible or too harsh, put me at ease, explained everything clearly and was just generally really lovely. I have severe mental health issues and a big fear of the dentist. I was so worried about coming because I struggle with self-care and my diet is not the greatest. The damage to my teeth is nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. Have an appointment for some fillings next week and to have my mouth guard sorted. So thank you Naheem and of course the other lovely staff working with him today. Really really grateful. I will be taking his advice and trying my best to get into a better routine/diet. Trying to improve my health anyways (as struggling with a lot of issues at the moment) and need to remember that my teeth need care too!

   I can't fault this dental practice. I had a great experience. The staff were all friendly and I was welcomed with a smile, they also made me feel at ease during my appointment. Dr Ahmed was very professional and explained everything clearly, and I felt like he really took the time to understand my needs and concerns. The injection was painless and quick!. I would highly recommend Dr Ahmed to anyone looking for a new dentist, you won't be disappointed.
