We went for Breakfast with Santa and it was a fantastic experience. The price was very reasonable, and the food was delicious. Luci and the rest of the staff were amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and great with the kids. It really made the morning special. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Glad to see table service has been introduced on our last visit, instead of having to queue at the bar. The person seating us mentioned there was a large party and advised to order early. Food and drinks were ordered at the same time and it turned out we didn't have to wait long. The service provided by Ray was great.

Staff were friendly and the service was great. It was the quality of food that was the issue. We ordered 2 cooked dinners one large turkey and the other a chicken. Part of it is down to personal preference, carrots were hard but we prefer them cooked a little longer, Yorkshire could have been in a little longer for a bit of crisp. The 2 bad points were the chicken and roast potatoes, it was like they were a few hours old. The roasties were tough to cut never mind chew and the chicken looked old and tough. I personally wouldn't return for a cooked dinner but other meals I have had in the past from the Ty Nant were lovely

We had a really nice experience at this pub. The service was excellent – staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout our visit, which made us feel comfortable straight away. For food, we tried the Katsu Chicken Burger, kebab, sausage and mash, and the Vegetable Thai-Style Curry. The Katsu chicken itself was crispy and really well-cooked, definitely a highlight. Personally, I wasn’t too keen on the katsu sauce – it reminded me more of a takeaway-style curry than the usual katsu flavour – but I appreciated that it was served separately so it didn’t overpower the burger. The other dishes were all very good, generous in portion, and well-prepared. The sausage and mash in particular felt hearty and satisfying, and the curry was packed with flavour. Overall, a great pub with good food and lovely service – we’ll definitely be back.

First time visiting here. Stopped for food with my 10year old son after a day out. We both had really nice food and will be going again very soon. The lady behind the bar was lovely. All around lovely setting nice little outside park and lovely food. Portions were huge. Photos dont do the food justice.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was served quickly and tasted good, it's basic pub grub but they've got it right. There was plenty of seats on a weekday lunch time and lots of room in car park. Would reccomend this pub.

Yesterday was the first time I visited. We had a group lunch booking and everyone was ordering and paying individually. Most of us ordered and paid via QR and it was easy enough. The food was delivered quite quickly and was pleasant. When we left, we saw that the place was completely full, so well done to the team there for their organisational skills. I'll definitely go back and try more items from their menu.

Brilliant pub! Great selection of beers (Hobgoblin IPA on tap plus all the Brains selection). Food was excellent & well priced. Loads of parking. Just off the A470 so very convenient. Opposite a popular garden centre which meant we visited both. Highly recommend.

As I came in I waited at the booking station - which is stupidly right by the doorway and not enough room for people to queue and to walk in and out. I was stood there waiting and no one came, so I approached the bar. After waiting in the queue, I said hello I have a booking, he told me to go wait by the door, I said I have been waiting there and explained there was no one there, he said well there should be. I walked back over to the door and waited, the lady came over, didn’t even greet us or say I’ll be with you in a moment, just went on the computer for a few minutes and went I’ll be back and walked off. She then came back and said have you got a booking, I said yes and gave my name, she then prompted me to a table and told me I could order online. I wrote on the notes for a high chair to be supplied for the baby, I had to get the high chair myself that was dirty, covered in food, grease and dirty finger marks. I had to sanitise and wipe it down myself. The table was also sticky. As I went to order online, I couldn’t select a sauce as it was out of stock and I couldn’t proceed without clicking a sauce, so I had to go to the bar. After waiting at the bar I was served, I put my arm on the bar and my jumper was soaked, there is nothing worse than a wet bar, the entire bar was soaked. When food arrived, the chips were freezing cold and the burgers were black from being severely burnt, the bun was like a rock, could barely cut through it it was that hard. The only nice part was the side of garlic bread. No one came around to ask if our meal was okay - even though we could hear other tables being asked. Overall, a very disappointed experience from start to finish with service, to hygiene to food, and I will not be returning. After spending over £30 on a meal that wasn’t even edible, sat on a sticky table that we had to wait for, a disgustingly dirty high chair, jumper soaked in wet from the bar, a silly online service that doesn’t even work, and not asked if the food was okay due to ignorant and rude staff. Something needs to be done here, I thought this was a reputable pub, this is why I come here. But sadly my Sunday has been ruined. We are still hungry and angry with our visit. Would NOT recommend and WILL NOT be returning.

Excellent service from Ele, the food was amazing. The total evening was great, helped by great staff and a lovely atmosphere. It is well worth a visit for a lovely night out. Good value for money and will go back again. Thank you Ele for your great service, you helped make it a special night for us all.
