Poor service Called & explained I was after some rings for a set of aftermarket pistons to be told to bring the piston & rings in and they could match it up with something, so got my partner to drop it in as I work all day & they are an hour away from where I live. To be told they would need to order some for the following day and they would be the right ones, next day comes with no phone call so I contact them to be told they hadn’t even ordered them! So who ever I spoke to said he would order them there and then & would be in the following morning assuring they would be the right ones, as you guessed no phone call again, contact them to be told the lad who’s dealing with it isn’t there atm and the rings they have got won’t fit!! So send my partner up to collect my piston which I had left there , so a complete waste of time and was rude to my partner when she went to collect my old parts.
Absolutely fantastic service, Damian bespoke re made us an integral part for an obsolete vintage mortice and safe key cutting machine. Imperial threads required amongst other issues, plus engineering works with such tight tolerances requiring within thousandths of a mil that it could have easily been unachievable. South wales pistons came through for us once again!! Highly recommended always!!

I dropped off the part that needed servicing, and to cut a long story short, 2 weeks later and still waiting. I called up and queried it. Perhaps Monday or Tuesday, a voice said over the phone. OK. And hour goes by, and the phone rings, apparently they have serviced my part, but the price has doubled. I quickly make my way to the workshop and inspect what can be described as slap and dash, shody workmanship. The valves that needed cleaning still had carbon build up on them. And all this at double the price I was quoted. Damien, the gentleman behind the counter, did lower the price back to the original price I was first quoted, which was nice of him. But I will never use them again. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Have used Mike and the team here for the best part of 20 years. The quality of workmanship is second to none. Excellent value for the quality and very timely turn around of jobs. Super professional, thanks guys.
