Disappointed. While Lee did mention he might not be able to resolve the issue, another garage identified and fixed the problem almost immediately. I came in with a clear description of the fault codes indicating the need to replace the spark plugs and ignition coils. Unfortunately, Kwik Fit made things worse. The spark plugs were over-tightened, and the wrong coil was replaced. The other garage confirmed this and recommended replacing all coils — which finally solved the issue. I ended up wasting over £150 with Kwik Fit. That’s on me for not going straight to a trusted repair shop, but I expected better workmanship and attention to detail from a national chain. According to the independent garage (IPS), Kwik Fit’s work simply wasn’t up to standard. Since this review, Kwik Fit refunded me and hence updated to 5 stars.
This is the second time we have used this Kwik Fit (Fosehill Road). The service I received from Gully Khan was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful and very efficient. Thank you.

They were awesome. Super helpful breaking my lock bolt when I couldn’t find the key. Even swapped over my wheel for me as well! Highly recommend, the whole group working there are knowledgeable and approachable.

Booked in for a winter check as my coolant warning light had been coming on and the team at Kwikfit were amazing, welcoming at reception and quick to get my car in and checked over, all done very efficiently and sorted straight away. Awesome communication from Tony and the team throughout and I will definitely be back! Only one request (please) on a cold drizzly winters day, it would have been amazing to have a hot drinks machine available while I waited.
