I am furious about how I was treated today. I went to the clinic around 12:30 to check if I could book an appointment for my daughter, as her back tooth is loose and uncomfortable. Luckily my daughter was not with me, I had just finished some business at the bank nearby and thought I could quickly stop by. The place was dark, the door was locked, and there was no sign indicating that it was closed. Just as I was about to leave, someone opened the door. I explained the situation and asked if I could make an appointment. Instead of showing any care, the receptionist rudely cut me off, saying it was their lunch break. When I explained that I didnβt know, she raised her voice, rolled her eyes at me, and kept repeating, βWe need to leave now and you just jumped in,β as if I were some kind of problem. Another staff member, in contrast, calmly said I could call in the afternoon. I asked her when, and she said after 2pm, which was perfectly fine; but the receptionist continued with her dismissive and unprofessional attitude. I have been registered here for almost eight years. This practice used to have a good reputation, but now it feels careless and arrogant, and today it even feels discriminatory. I was treated with zero respect, as though my childβs health and my time did not matter. This is a practice that used to accept NHS patients, which makes it even worse. Patients come here because they trust NHS care and often do not have the option to simply go elsewhere. That should mean treating people with more respect, not less. Over the years, the decline has become more obvious. During routine check-ups, the staff have often seemed perfunctory. When I previously had problems with my gums, I was told they could not help and was referred to a private clinic. I didnβt mind paying, but the private clinic resolved the issue within three days β which only highlighted how disappointing this practice has become in both attitude and capability. What happened today made me feel discriminated against. I was treated with absolutely no respect, as though my childβs health and my time had no value. Needing a break is understandable, but being disrespectful to NHS patients is absolutely unacceptable. Even though it is a lunch break how could they need to close practice to have a lunch break from 12:30 to 14:00? If this is how NHS patients are treated here, I cannot recommend this practice anymore. Dental practices nowadays have really become spoiled. For my experience today, I would give this clinic a score of 0.

I donβt understand why thereβs some bad reviews as me and my family have been coming here for 8 years now with no problems at all. The ladies in reception are always friendly and helpful and the dentist (upstairs) is also friendly and has done a lot of work on my teeth. Iβve never been a fan of dental work but heβs put me at ease and is kind and professional.

I receive fantastic attention in Rugby, but this morning, Mr Rahamana and Deb went over and above to sort my dental problem out when I was 160 miles away on holiday. Thank you so much.

As a child, I had a terrible dental experience at an emergency centre in Leicester, since then, and up until I joined Regent Street Dental Practice, I have been absolutely terrified of dentists; but that all changed when I became a patient of this incredible practice. Both my husband and I have been with Regent Street Dental Practice for many, many years now, and our joint experiences have been exemplary in every way. Most importantly, their work is outstanding quality, their knowledge and professionalism are unimpeachable, and their warm and calming 'bedside manner' is a life-line to an anxious patient. As a nervous patient, I know I am something of a challenge, but their kindness, patience and gentle approach, has totally 'cured' my almost-phobia. I will never look forward to a dental appointment, but now I never dread them, and without exception, I have always felt so well looked after, and valued, I could never contemplate going elsewhere. Not only are the Dentists themselves outstanding, but the dental nurses and the reception staff are all a delight, too. 5 stars is simply not enough, for the life-changing experience I now know is possible, with a trip to the Dentist.

Shocking - My daughter had been in agony all night. Phoned and explained this - got a totally disinterested receptionist - who had NO empathy for the fact that she was climbing the walls in pain and has been unable to see a dentist anywhere - This practice was recommended to me - a shame it is being let down by its monotone computer says 'no' receptionist.

Superb practice, best one I have been with. Had a new top denture fitted and two days later needed to go back for adjustment - saw me at short notice that day, and, the same today for a further slight adjustment, (rang up at 4 pm today and was seen at 4.30.) Very happy with the level of service received across the board.

Called to see if I could register. The lady who first answered the phone gets all three stars - lovely reception! The lady who took up the call after transfer sounded totally disinterested in how she could help me, even though she had to ask, so I wasn't disappointed to find they're not taking on new patients.

I signed up to this practice and got given an appointment which was suitable. I then rang the practice ahead of this in a considerable amount of pain and asked if this appointment could be brought forward to which I got given an appointment the Friday of that week (the week before my initial appointment) I turned up to this appointment to get told that they had made an error and put me down for the following week which was of no use to me as I needed to be seen. I had no apology no advice of any other way to get an emergency appointment and the receptionist was disgustingly rude and just stated that "there is nothing I can do about it". As this was meant to be my first appointment with the practice I am not impressed in the slightest. I Do Not under any circumstances advise anyone to attend this practice. Absolutely disgusting 'customer service' if that is what you can call it.
