   Went in in June for some nails and plasterboard and was greeted by a lovely young man called Stuart he assisted me in getting the correct items was very chatty and very happy to help me never had that kind of personal experience before he was also helping others customers at the same time. Is a credit to wickes usually go in there and all the staff are hiding especially the young blonde lad with glasses. Keep it up Stuart you need a pay rise

   I use Wickes a lot but the customer service on the till in this store is poor. I've frequented this store a few times and the Cashier was rude and unhelpful. Will be using the Halifax store from now on as have I've had no issues there and the staff are always great

   Wickes has everything you may need for your DIY projects. I find that they are more expensive than their competitors, for alot of things now. They are not as cheap as they used to be. My advice is to shop around first. They are promoting their own products now, so they mark-up the prices of the known brands and sell theirs cheaper. Its no different than what all the other major stores are doing, but what it means is that you can get the known products cheaper elsewhere.

   Worst kicthen design manager on God's green planet called Daniel He will ignore your calls and messages if things go wrong so beware! Even though Vickie Webster was his golden girl when she got the design wrong he wouldn't take any responsibility and put the dirt on another colleague to pick up Vicki's mess. (Considering she didn't make me sign an agreement before selling the product) Daniel is a coward who takes no responsibility and no action! Beware of this store they made my 7 month pregnant wife return a sink as Daniel wouldn't bother to help or acknowledge any mistakes! What store would make a pregnant person return a sink? You delivered it via delivery and refused to pick up as delivery. This store does not design your kicthen from end to end they only design 75% and don't even bother to look at the other 25% wall remaining. It's like watching cowboys at action and Daniel the kicthen designer is the chief of the cowboys.

   Called in to purchase some Tarmac Sand Salt. This was stored outside, there was no problem, one of the staff went and brought the Sand to our car whilst I paid. In and out of the Store in no time. Very helpful staff.

   What a super place for every single DYI stuff. Bathroom stuff, wood, paint, plastering things, drill machine and the other tools. Very good place as our local. There are more things you can find here.
