   Paint matching service was appalling. Bought 2 tins of the same colour paint through the paint matching service. No colour was added to 1 of the tins. We took it back for a replacement. The replacement tin was the correct colour, but the wrong finish, which we only realised after we had started to use it, meaning we had to repaint a large area of the room with the correct finish. No apology was given for their mistake or the additional work this caused, both the repainting and the additional trips to B&Q. I suggest you somewhere else for your paint matching service.

   We were looking for tiles. We needed some help finding stock. We had to search high and low for a staff member they were incredibly hard to find. Eventually we found two together talking. Once we found a member of staff he was very helpful and knowledgeable.

   Did a click and collect order and asked a friend to pick up so I could get some storage tubs quicker than ordering from amazon (who were same price and free delivery). Apparently the staff saw it fit to hand over all 6 items wet, muddy and mildewy - the labels were weathered as if they'd spent months outside like that. One was also scuffed all over the bottom as if it'd been dragged around. Tried contacting their online customer service who apparently couldn't help as I need to return to the store to have it dealt with. Completely unprofessional that customers should have to waste their time like this and that staff see fit to get rid of old and damaged stock on online orders. Will be sticking with online retailers in future!

   The new discount club offering 15% discounts is a con. Tried loads of products in my basket. Not one has recieved a discount yet. Still waiting for a reply from CS re this. 3 days waiting.

   Good variety. Shopping here for years. Only annoyance you can never find anyone to help you look for owt if you do they can't be bothered to show you and will just direct you. Or they lack info in the matter. In past I have had to load my car myself with heavy stuff cos no one around on many occasions as I took 6months to do my entire house was regularly comming.

   My experience 11/02/23. As a home owner, NHS laboratory scientist for over 5 years, 6ft 4 man, who's 28, I was surprised when I was challenged for ID the purchase of sealent and white spirit, I have purchased similar items from the store in the past. I did not have ID as i wasn't aware that I looked younger than 25. The cashier 'pam' and her manager told me that they way I looked didn't fit somebody who was older than 25 and by this time a que had started to form. The experience was humiliating and ultimately a waste of my time. The manager was condescending and ultimately it came down to "we are being tested on this so we can't". I will no longer be purchasing from BnQ as the poor attitude from staff when asking for assistance as well as not being able to complete my purchase has left a poor taste in my mouth. I have since ended up ordering what I need from screw fix online. Easier and less humiliation.

   We couldn't find the desired tool. Asked a mature staff member. He came with us , showing us the area, and assisting us with the right decision. Very happy with him. And the checkout lady who is an England football fan. Good store.
