Ive loved my time getting treatment from the student I was assigned. To watch her confidence grow has been rewarding, plus you get free treatment, and everything is always checked by supervisor
Just wanted to give some verbal feedback for one of the members of staff, Ellie Smith. Truly a gem! The nicest dentist I’ve ever met and was so reassuring and kind. She constantly checked in with me and made me feel so comfortable and relax which I don’t think I’ve ever felt at a dentist. Hope she gets the recognition she thoroughly deserves! :)
I was in agony with a tooth , and had no dentist surgery. I contacted uhw and was immediately given a appointment. The student that extracted my tooth was amazing , she kept me informed about everything. Was gentle and social. The NHS is absolutely brilliant , and I thank you so much for helping my pain today and promptly.
Called the dental hospital after having a couple of big extractions the week before and suffering with pain at one of the extraction sites. Was offered an appointment the same day and seen on time. 4th year student Sara was very polite, pleasant and professional. Together with her supervisor they quickly diagnosed a "dry socket" then flushed and packed it which was uncomfortable but expertly accomplished. I was kept informed at every stage as to what was being done and what to expect. Thank you.
When you have a dental emergency, it's a relief to know that you can get amazing service from the dentist. Dr Anca did a stellar job in calming me down and doing an emergency extraction.
Had a cap put on my tooth which was only supposed to be there for 2 weeks, and that was 6 months ago, I was told I'd be contacted with an appointment date but heard nothing, tried countless times to get in touch but the number doesn't even seem to work anymore.
The staff and dentists are all of a very high professional standard. You are treated with respect and carefully with regards to your needs. Advice given by staff with regards to further treatment straight away and a letter for reminding you. A clean and tidy hospital as well .
Everyone here are so friendly and professional, made me feel at ease and comfortable. Visited twice now since end of January due to inflammation and swelling on my lower lip which has been ongoing for around 8 months. Was referred by my dentist last October. Saw Dr Atkin, and on both occasions he has been professional and friendly and takes time to explain, not quick to rush you out like some places and l am not made to feel a nuisance. The students are lovely too. Due to go back in 4 months
