   Really bad customer service. I bought the whole bathroom materials from them, when I wanted to exchange one the guy Ayan told us it’s special order. But when we bought it he didn’t mention that, on receipt it didn’t say special order, so how do we know it was a special order and he was very rude with us. Never recommended to anyone Ayelston branch BuildYard. As per reply from BuildYard. I would like to clear some points. When we buy these things he did not mention that we cannot refund or exchange. Also that item was in stock as I ordered from one I see at the back . He said that was not the right size but I didn’t mention any size for radiator. Other thing, why there nothing on the receipt like these items are special order and cannot be exchanged. Also CCTV footage would have shown him walking away when we were trying to resolve this. Can you email me the footage? If I spend my money and trust BuildYard they should learn to respect their customers. And also I am not the only one who said that , people can read the reviews on YELL , it’s not BAD review it’s BAD customer service. Very disappointed with your answer. The way you showed your attitude to reply on this platform showed how mature you guys are? Can I ask you to reply one of my point that why we not got told that it’s non refundable items and we can’t even exchange? Never heard that before, even online items you can return/exchange within the time frame. That’s my customer right. So instead of giving us that answer, you trying to distract people with all those other positive reviews. May be those people had good experiences with you but I am here telling people that I didn’t have a positive experience. Also replying like this is also very rude and immature. Don’t you think? You didn’t do any enquiry or any reassurance like any company would normally do and find out solution in a calmer way , because that is the first rule of customer service. Can you find out that why no one told us that items on our receipts are non refundable???

   Had an emergency roofing job that needed to be completed on a Sunday, they are closed on a Sunday and within 30 minutes they opened up the wigston branch and supplied me with everything I need at a very competitive price. Genuinely the best builders merchant about. Always helpful and the service is always excellent

   I’ve been using Buildyard for some time now and they never fail, you cannot beat them for service, stock, prices and the delivery time is 1st class. This morning at 8:30 I went into Buildyard, Wigston and asked if they could help my out with an urgent delivery, within the hour it was delivered, that kind of service you simply wouldn’t get anywhere else All the lads are 1st class but a mention must be given to Hashim who goes out his way to help you Thanks Lads.
