Very satisfied with my experience at Travis Perkins. They have a wide range of quality products, and the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I found exactly what I needed, and they guided me in the right direction without any hassle. Highly recommend for anyone looking for building materials and reliable service!
Placed 3 different web orders to be delivered on 6th May. No one from Travis perkins rang me and when I chased I find out its not being delivered till tomorrow with them stating the system tells them its scheduled for tomorrow and there is nothing they can do about it. They recommend I ring head office of which head office then state its due to only having 1 delivery driver. I asked why I was not informed it was going to be delayed and all i got was we can only apologise. Interesting the story changed from what the local branch told me to head office as the reason why.
Terrible experience. Bought fences and they booked for deliver on a particular. My builder came to install the fences but the fences never got delivered. On the delivery day I ringed them, they said it was out of stock and their system was showing wrong stock. I got refunded but I had to pay my builder for the lost day. I went back to the store to check if stock arrived back again and possibly buy a different fence type, but none of the staff could help me, one staff member said go speak to other person outside, I spoke the the person outside and he said again go speak to another. None of them could help me or tried to understand was I was looking for, they just kept saying not me and not me. Left the store and never again.
I was looking for a machine to grind a screeded floor. I waited for about 10 minutes whilst 1 staff member was on the phone and the other was on the computer. The guy on the computer was 'obviously too busy' to even acknowledge me but was available to help the guy on the phone. When I was eventually served, they said the person who dealt with my request wasn't at work until the next day. They took my phone number for someone to phone me back the next day. 12 days later, I'm still waiting for the call!!
I wouldn't even give 1 star but had to to leave this, phoned of the morning to see what time they close was told 12pm. Finished what I was doing left to get there in time arrived at 11.47 to see staff standing outside and shop shut to be told they have cashed up and shop is shut. Wanted a tub of tile adhesive and it could go on account. Blonde women standing waiting to close the gate so I had to drive out. They don't care about there customers but I do what do I tell my customer now sorry can't finish the tiling because they are shut. Totally unacceptable and all the money I spend thousands a month to be told this. Disgrace I will not be going to that shop and looking to open an account elsewhere you won't have my custom anymore. Enjoy your bank holiday I've now got run around or tell the customer the job won't be finished.

Do not order online for Coventry. The staff could not care less about your order or customer experience. I was called up and asked if I would want my order on a Friday 2 weeks after the payment date. I instead booked in a Monday as I would be off work. No email or text confirmation. Come Monday nothing, couldnt get through by phone. Called Tuesday. No detail of Mondays delivery date on file. They could not deliver Tuesday as a van broke down. Fair enough. I'm only a 5 min drive from the store and I suspect they may have more than 1 van...never mind . I was told that I would receive my order on the Wednesday. I asked what time...held for 10 mins. No later than 10am. Come Wednesday, 10am. Nothing. I called. They would be loading it up any minute. Forget it. I was working again and asked specifically for a Monday or Tuesday or even Weds morning. The refund took another 3 days or so. Never once did I receive an apology. The workers here care about customers less than they should. Won't ever be using Travis Perkins again.
