   I’ve been a reasonably regular customer for some time and have always found the staff to be courteous, attentive, and good-humoured — a standard of service that has kept me coming back. However, during my most recent visit, I experienced an unfortunate exception. While I was being assisted by a very personable and helpful young man (new to the job by only a few days, as he confided), a female colleague of his — mid-to-late forties, blonde hair — behaved in a manner that I can only describe as rude and unprofessional. Although she was not directly serving me, she made her irritation clear throughout the interaction — glancing repeatedly at her watch, sighing, and eventually commenting on how long the transaction was taking, despite my having come fully prepared with item codes, descriptions, and prices. When the purchase was finally completed, she glared at me and remarked that the process had taken 30 minutes, implying that I was to blame. Her attitude did a disservice to both her colleague, who was doing his best to learn, and to the high standard of customer care I’ve consistently experienced at this outlet. To be clear, my one-star rating reflects this isolated incident only — had it not occurred, my review would have been a solid five stars based on all previous positive experiences. I will continue to use this outlet as my preferred choice but will take care to avoid further dealings with this particular staff member.    The staff at Toolstation are always friendly and helpful. Had a bit of a problem with an edging I ordered recently but Rob sorted it out swiftly and efficiently. As I say, all the staff are helpful but Rob is always cheerful & knowledgeable. Well done to you all.

   Served by Rob a couple of weeks ago at the Loughborough branch. He couldn’t have been more helpful and honest in his own reviews of what he expected would work best for my trade. I’ve gave it a couple of weeks trialling his advice and can’t find a single fault on the honesty he has given me. A rare gentleman that cares more about quality at a brilliant price rather than pushy sales. Ask for what you need- you get. What could be better? A very happy and a guaranteed return customer.

   Ok as cheap light whilst they work ! This is now light number three as previous lights both failed shortly after a year old so no warranty!!! Both have failed due to water ingress which given that these are rated at IP65 is difficult to understand. Seriously consider another light if going to be subject to any amount of rain fall, have tried to add picture of the water inside of the light but not supported by these reviews , wonder why ????

   27/08 Another great click and collect experience today, quick and easy with helpful and smiling assistants. Well done & Great service, thanks Great service from Tool Station Loughborough, I’m a new customer and have now been twice and will continue to go. Previously driven further down the road, but Tool station have a really easy to use web site, orders are processed quickly and it’s service with a smile when you go to collect. Recommended

   Outstanding service! Order on line, 5 minutes later it is ready to collect. Honestly I was a bit stressed going there. It was my firs visit there (my Husband always do it) and I love it. Smiled Staff welcome me, collection take maybe a minute? When it appear shoes not fit, no problem with return and more! Jess helped me to find shoes that fit! Jess you saved me!! Thank You!!

   Great experience! I ordered the item i required. received the email to say that it was ready for collection. When i arrived at the store, the social distancing procedure was clearly defined and i was given my item on production of the last 3 digits of my order number. Well done to all the staff & Stay Safe Guys.
