Was one of my go to store for a quick shop, unforfortunately after introducing self checkout, there seems to be a problem if you have a shopping trolley limited space and the good one has paid for dont fit as space is small.. keeps falling from tiny space.. nodody at till to serve though there was enough staff...disappointing!!
A well-sized Tesco - not too big, not too small -with everything you need for a quick and convenient shop. It offers 2 hours of free parking, which is a great bonus. The staff are friendly and helpful, and as a nice touch, it’s right next door to my favourite bakery! There is also a cash point outside which is useful.
The store was well-stocked and easy to shop in, but the checkout experience was very poor. Only one staff member was handling everything, including self-checkout assistance, during a busy evening. I had to wait far too long just to get help. Disappointing end to an otherwise good visit, this Tesco should really improve staff availability at peak times
Not a bad store with decent park and good range. Enough to do a weekly shop. Staff are helpful and always on the shop floor. However the biggest negative is they have updated store to 95% self checkout with the 1 belted till never open. Vs before the refit of 4/5 belted tills with one always being open and self checkout. If you have a trolley or a large basket full of things it’s extremely frustrating to use the self checkout/ impossible without constantly needed assistance and nowhere to put 3/4 bags of shopping.
Very good store and lovely staff. Very good variety too. Always kept nice and clean. Now has security too due to high number of thefts. Cash point right outside too.

First time visited the tesco store in Evington. Its was a really pleasant experience. Nice and clean. Got what I wanted. It wa really good that they even had indian products as it was a small tesco. Wish my local one did the same too!!!! Really friendly staff and helpful. Thanks to the friendly and kind lady who was entertaining my little one while I was packing my shopping away.
Once dropped a jar of roasted peppers here. It shattered on impact and created a mess, but the worker was nice about it and didn’t really make a big deal of it (I was absolutely mortified). Anyway, they have a decent car park considering it’s just a small supermarket. And it’s situated in a good place so if you ever need to quickly get something it’s perfect. Also they have all the essentials and more. (haven’t been recently so don’t know how much emphasis they are putting on Covid guidelines)
